                                    Deliverance bible study

I am led to do a bible study where God delivers various people from differing situations be it from His judgment on an evil society, from an enemy nation, from invasions, and so on. God did this as He loved people, and wanted to save some of the people even though the actions of all of the other people may have sorely grieved Him, as in some of the cases. The first story is a strong example of that: Noah’s flood

Noah and family from the great flood

Here is the story of how God delivered Noah and his family, with some animals from the flood which He used to destroy the wicked earth at that time, which had become extremely evil.

(Genesis 6:1)  When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them,

(Genesis 6:2)  the sons of God saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose.

(Genesis 6:3)  Then the LORD said, "My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years."

(Genesis 6:4)  The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown.

(Genesis 6:5)  The LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

(Genesis 6:6)  And the LORD was sorry that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart.

(Genesis 6:7)  So the LORD said, "I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens, for I am sorry that I have made them."

(Genesis 6:8)  But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.

(Genesis 6:9)  These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation. Noah walked with God.

(Genesis 6:10)  And Noah had three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

(Genesis 6:11)  Now the earth was corrupt in God's sight, and the earth was filled with violence.

(Genesis 6:12)  And God saw the earth, and behold, it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.

(Genesis 6:13)  And God said to Noah, "I have determined to make an end of all flesh, for the earth is filled with violence through them. Behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

(Genesis 6:14)  Make yourself an ark of gopher wood. Make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and out with pitch.

(Genesis 6:15)  This is how you are to make it: the length of the ark 300 cubits, its breadth 50 cubits, and its height 30 cubits.

(Genesis 6:16)  Make a roof for the ark, and finish it to a cubit above, and set the door of the ark in its side. Make it with lower, second, and third decks.

(Genesis 6:17)  For behold, I will bring a flood of waters upon the earth to destroy all flesh in which is the breath of life under heaven. Everything that is on the earth shall die.

(Genesis 6:18)  But I will establish my covenant with you, and you shall come into the ark, you, your sons, your wife, and your sons' wives with you.

(Genesis 6:19)  And of every living thing of all flesh, you shall bring two of every sort into the ark to keep them alive with you. They shall be male and female.

(Genesis 6:20)  Of the birds according to their kinds, and of the animals according to their kinds, of every creeping thing of the ground, according to its kind, two of every sort shall come in to you to keep them alive.

(Genesis 6:21)  Also take with you every sort of food that is eaten, and store it up. It shall serve as food for you and for them."

(Genesis 6:22)  Noah did this; he did all that God commanded him.

(Genesis 7:1)  Then the LORD said to Noah, "Go into the ark, you and all your household, for I have seen that you are righteous before me in this generation.

(Genesis 7:2)  Take with you seven pairs of all clean animals, the male and his mate, and a pair of the animals that are not clean, the male and his mate,

(Genesis 7:3)  and seven pairs of the birds of the heavens also, male and female, to keep their offspring alive on the face of all the earth.

(Genesis 7:4)  For in seven days I will send rain on the earth forty days and forty nights, and every living thing that I have made I will blot out from the face of the ground."

(Genesis 7:5)  And Noah did all that the LORD had commanded him.

(Genesis 7:6)  Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters came upon the earth.

(Genesis 7:7)  And Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons' wives with him went into the ark to escape the waters of the flood.

(Genesis 7:8)  Of clean animals, and of animals that are not clean, and of birds, and of everything that creeps on the ground,

(Genesis 7:9)  two and two, male and female, went into the ark with Noah, as God had commanded Noah.

(Genesis 7:10)  And after seven days the waters of the flood came upon the earth.

(Genesis 7:11)  In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep burst forth, and the windows of the heavens were opened.

(Genesis 7:12)  And rain fell upon the earth forty days and forty nights.

(Genesis 7:13)  On the very same day Noah and his sons, Shem and Ham and Japheth, and Noah's wife and the three wives of his sons with them entered the ark,

(Genesis 7:14)  they and every beast, according to its kind, and all the livestock according to their kinds, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, according to its kind, and every bird, according to its kind, every winged creature.

(Genesis 7:15)  They went into the ark with Noah, two and two of all flesh in which there was the breath of life.

(Genesis 7:16)  And those that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in as God had commanded him. And the LORD shut him in.

(Genesis 7:17)  The flood continued forty days on the earth. The waters increased and bore up the ark, and it rose high above the earth.

(Genesis 7:18)  The waters prevailed and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the face of the waters.

(Genesis 7:19)  And the waters prevailed so mightily on the earth that all the high mountains under the whole heaven were covered.

(Genesis 7:20)  The waters prevailed above the mountains, covering them fifteen cubits deep.

(Genesis 7:21)  And all flesh died that moved on the earth, birds, livestock, beasts, all swarming creatures that swarm on the earth, and all mankind.

(Genesis 7:22)  Everything on the dry land in whose nostrils was the breath of life died.

(Genesis 7:23)  He blotted out every living thing that was on the face of the ground, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens. They were blotted out from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those who were with him in the ark.

(Genesis 7:24)  And the waters prevailed on the earth 150 days.

It is an awesome story of how Noah and found grace in the sight of God and also of Noah’s faith and obedience to follow all of God’s instructions to the tee. It also speaks of God’s mercy that He allowed Noah and his family to build the ark and restart the human race when He could just have taken them to heaven and forgotten the whole matter of humans. I am thankful that His mercy and grace allowed the humans to continue. Next story is Lot’s deliverance from Sodom.

Lot and family from Sodom being destroyed Genesis 19

This is the story of Lot’s and his family’s deliverance from Sodom and the other evil cities. In Genesis 18 Abraham had successfully interceded with God so that He pledged to not destroy Sodom for as few as ten righteous people. The story below gives strong indication that Lot and his family were the only righteous ones there, and this is a sad commentary along with Genesis 6 on just how completely vile and evil an entire society can become over time

(Genesis 19:1)  The two angels came to Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them, he rose to meet them and bowed himself with his face to the earth

(Genesis 19:2)  and said, "My lords, please turn aside to your servant's house and spend the night and wash your feet. Then you may rise up early and go on your way." They said, "No; we will spend the night in the town square."

(Genesis 19:3)  But he pressed them strongly; so they turned aside to him and entered his house. And he made them a feast and baked unleavened bread, and they ate.

(Genesis 19:4)  But before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, both young and old, all the people to the last man, surrounded the house.

(Genesis 19:5)  And they called to Lot, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us, that we may know them."

(Genesis 19:6)  Lot went out to the men at the entrance, shut the door after him,

(Genesis 19:7)  and said, "I beg you, my brothers, do not act so wickedly.

(Genesis 19:8)  Behold, I have two daughters who have not known any man. Let me bring them out to you, and do to them as you please. Only do nothing to these men, for they have come under the shelter of my roof."

(Genesis 19:9)  But they said, "Stand back!" And they said, "This fellow came to sojourn, and he has become the judge! Now we will deal worse with you than with them." Then they pressed hard against the man Lot, and drew near to break the door down.

(Genesis 19:10)  But the men reached out their hands and brought Lot into the house with them and shut the door.

(Genesis 19:11)  And they struck with blindness the men who were at the entrance of the house, both small and great, so that they wore themselves out groping for the door.

(Genesis 19:12)  Then the men said to Lot, "Have you anyone else here? Sons-in-law, sons, daughters, or anyone you have in the city, bring them out of the place.

(Genesis 19:13)  For we are about to destroy this place, because the outcry against its people has become great before the LORD, and the LORD has sent us to destroy it."

(Genesis 19:14)  So Lot went out and said to his sons-in-law, who were to marry his daughters, "Up! Get out of this place, for the LORD is about to destroy the city." But he seemed to his sons-in-law to be jesting.

(Genesis 19:15)  As morning dawned, the angels urged Lot, saying, "Up! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be swept away in the punishment of the city."

(Genesis 19:16)  But he lingered. So the men seized him and his wife and his two daughters by the hand, the LORD being merciful to him, and they brought him out and set him outside the city.

(Genesis 19:17)  And as they brought them out, one said, "Escape for your life. Do not look back or stop anywhere in the valley. Escape to the hills, lest you be swept away."

(Genesis 19:18)  And Lot said to them, "Oh, no, my lords.

(Genesis 19:19)  Behold, your servant has found favor in your sight, and you have shown me great kindness in saving my life. But I cannot escape to the hills, lest the disaster overtake me and I die.

(Genesis 19:20)  Behold, this city is near enough to flee to, and it is a little one. Let me escape there--is it not a little one?--and my life will be saved!"

(Genesis 19:21)  He said to him, "Behold, I grant you this favor also, that I will not overthrow the city of which you have spoken.

(Genesis 19:22)  Escape there quickly, for I can do nothing till you arrive there." Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.

(Genesis 19:23)  The sun had risen on the earth when Lot came to Zoar.

(Genesis 19:24)  Then the LORD rained on Sodom and Gomorrah sulfur and fire from the LORD out of heaven.

(Genesis 19:25)  And he overthrew those cities, and all the valley, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground.

(Genesis 19:26)  But Lot's wife, behind him, looked back, and she became a pillar of salt.

(Genesis 19:27)  And Abraham went early in the morning to the place where he had stood before the LORD.

(Genesis 19:28)  And he looked down toward Sodom and Gomorrah and toward all the land of the valley, and he looked and, behold, the smoke of the land went up like the smoke of a furnace.

(Genesis 19:29)  So it was that, when God destroyed the cities of the valley, God remembered Abraham and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow when he overthrew the cities in which Lot had lived.

Note that unlike with Noah, Lot and his family were unwilling to leave, dawdled, and the angels had to take them by hand and forcefully move them away from the destruction. God’s mercy to them was so great that He did exactly that. Note that Lot’s wife disobeyed the command to nt look back at all when leaving and when she did look back she became a pillar of salt as a result of her disobedience. Next up is Israel’s deliverance from Egypt

Israel from Egypt.

Here is the story of how God freed His people the Israelites from their slavery in Egypt. First God smote the children of Egypt with the plagues- please read Exodus 1 to 13 for the entire back story on this with all the information on how they ended up in this situation, Moses, and the ten plagues which affected Egypt.  I am including Exodus 14 which is Israel’s final deliverance and escape from Egypt by the Red Sea

(Exodus 14:1)  Then the LORD said to Moses,

(Exodus 14:2)  "Tell the people of Israel to turn back and encamp in front of Pi-hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, in front of Baal-zephon; you shall encamp facing it, by the sea.

(Exodus 14:3)  For Pharaoh will say of the people of Israel, 'They are wandering in the land; the wilderness has shut them in.'

(Exodus 14:4)  And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and he will pursue them, and I will get glory over Pharaoh and all his host, and the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD." And they did so.

(Exodus 14:5)  When the king of Egypt was told that the people had fled, the mind of Pharaoh and his servants was changed toward the people, and they said, "What is this we have done, that we have let Israel go from serving us?"

(Exodus 14:6)  So he made ready his chariot and took his army with him,

(Exodus 14:7)  and took six hundred chosen chariots and all the other chariots of Egypt with officers over all of them.

(Exodus 14:8)  And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued the people of Israel while the people of Israel were going out defiantly.

(Exodus 14:9)  The Egyptians pursued them, all Pharaoh's horses and chariots and his horsemen and his army, and overtook them encamped at the sea, by Pi-hahiroth, in front of Baal-zephon.

(Exodus 14:10)  When Pharaoh drew near, the people of Israel lifted up their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians were marching after them, and they feared greatly. And the people of Israel cried out to the LORD.

(Exodus 14:11)  They said to Moses, "Is it because there are no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? What have you done to us in bringing us out of Egypt?

(Exodus 14:12)  Is not this what we said to you in Egypt: 'Leave us alone that we may serve the Egyptians'? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness."

(Exodus 14:13)  And Moses said to the people, "Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again.

(Exodus 14:14)  The LORD will fight for you, and you have only to be silent."

(Exodus 14:15)  The LORD said to Moses, "Why do you cry to me? Tell the people of Israel to go forward.

(Exodus 14:16)  Lift up your staff, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it, that the people of Israel may go through the sea on dry ground.

(Exodus 14:17)  And I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they shall go in after them, and I will get glory over Pharaoh and all his host, his chariots, and his horsemen.

(Exodus 14:18)  And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gotten glory over Pharaoh, his chariots, and his horsemen."

(Exodus 14:19)  Then the angel of God who was going before the host of Israel moved and went behind them, and the pillar of cloud moved from before them and stood behind them,

(Exodus 14:20)  coming between the host of Egypt and the host of Israel. And there was the cloud and the darkness. And it lit up the night without one coming near the other all night.

(Exodus 14:21)  Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the LORD drove the sea back by a strong east wind all night and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

(Exodus 14:22)  And the people of Israel went into the midst of the sea on dry ground, the waters being a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.

(Exodus 14:23)  The Egyptians pursued and went in after them into the midst of the sea, all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.

(Exodus 14:24)  And in the morning watch the LORD in the pillar of fire and of cloud looked down on the Egyptian forces and threw the Egyptian forces into a panic,

(Exodus 14:25)  clogging their chariot wheels so that they drove heavily. And the Egyptians said, "Let us flee from before Israel, for the LORD fights for them against the Egyptians."

(Exodus 14:26)  Then the LORD said to Moses, "Stretch out your hand over the sea, that the water may come back upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen."

(Exodus 14:27)  So Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to its normal course when the morning appeared. And as the Egyptians fled into it, the LORD threw the Egyptians into the midst of the sea.

(Exodus 14:28)  The waters returned and covered the chariots and the horsemen; of all the host of Pharaoh that had followed them into the sea, not one of them remained.

(Exodus 14:29)  But the people of Israel walked on dry ground through the sea, the waters being a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.

(Exodus 14:30)  Thus the LORD saved Israel that day from the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore.

(Exodus 14:31)  Israel saw the great power that the LORD used against the Egyptians, so the people feared the LORD, and they believed in the LORD and in his servant Moses.

Eventually the Israelites would conquer and settle with God’s help the Promised Land. Then afterwards they would go through periods of backsliding and then repentance, and God would raise up Judges to deliver them from opponents to whom God had delivered them to punish them for their disobedience and make them repent of the idolatry and other wickedness and return to Him. The whole book of judges is filled with stories of these judges(Samuel essentially being the last judge in 1 Samuel). I am including the story of Gideon and his deliverance, as notable, but for more on these judges don’t hesitate to read the rest of the book of Judges and the first few chapters of 1 Samuel.

Gideon from Midianite horde Judges 7

Here is the final story of how Gideon’s tiny select band of 300 were so powerfuly used by God, following God’s instructions on what exactly to do, and how God Himself panicked and routed the far larger horde of Midian

(Judges 7:1)  Then Jerubbaal (that is, Gideon) and all the people who were with him rose early and encamped beside the spring of Harod. And the camp of Midian was north of them, by the hill of Moreh, in the valley.

(Judges 7:2)  The LORD said to Gideon, "The people with you are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hand, lest Israel boast over me, saying, 'My own hand has saved me.'

(Judges 7:3)  Now therefore proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, 'Whoever is fearful and trembling, let him return home and hurry away from Mount Gilead.'" Then 22,000 of the people returned, and 10,000 remained.

(Judges 7:4)  And the LORD said to Gideon, "The people are still too many. Take them down to the water, and I will test them for you there, and anyone of whom I say to you, 'This one shall go with you,' shall go with you, and anyone of whom I say to you, 'This one shall not go with you,' shall not go."

(Judges 7:5)  So he brought the people down to the water. And the LORD said to Gideon, "Every one who laps the water with his tongue, as a dog laps, you shall set by himself. Likewise, every one who kneels down to drink."

(Judges 7:6)  And the number of those who lapped, putting their hands to their mouths, was 300 men, but all the rest of the people knelt down to drink water.

(Judges 7:7)  And the LORD said to Gideon, "With the 300 men who lapped I will save you and give the Midianites into your hand, and let all the others go every man to his home."

(Judges 7:8)  So the people took provisions in their hands, and their trumpets. And he sent all the rest of Israel every man to his tent, but retained the 300 men. And the camp of Midian was below him in the valley.

(Judges 7:9)  That same night the LORD said to him, "Arise, go down against the camp, for I have given it into your hand.

(Judges 7:10)  But if you are afraid to go down, go down to the camp with Purah your servant.

(Judges 7:11)  And you shall hear what they say, and afterward your hands shall be strengthened to go down against the camp." Then he went down with Purah his servant to the outposts of the armed men who were in the camp.

(Judges 7:12)  And the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the people of the East lay along the valley like locusts in abundance, and their camels were without number, as the sand that is on the seashore in abundance.

(Judges 7:13)  When Gideon came, behold, a man was telling a dream to his comrade. And he said, "Behold, I dreamed a dream, and behold, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the camp of Midian and came to the tent and struck it so that it fell and turned it upside down, so that the tent lay flat."

(Judges 7:14)  And his comrade answered, "This is no other than the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel; God has given into his hand Midian and all the camp."

(Judges 7:15)  As soon as Gideon heard the telling of the dream and its interpretation, he worshiped. And he returned to the camp of Israel and said, "Arise, for the LORD has given the host of Midian into your hand."

(Judges 7:16)  And he divided the 300 men into three companies and put trumpets into the hands of all of them and empty jars, with torches inside the jars.

(Judges 7:17)  And he said to them, "Look at me, and do likewise. When I come to the outskirts of the camp, do as I do.

(Judges 7:18)  When I blow the trumpet, I and all who are with me, then blow the trumpets also on every side of all the camp and shout, 'For the LORD and for Gideon.'"

(Judges 7:19)  So Gideon and the hundred men who were with him came to the outskirts of the camp at the beginning of the middle watch, when they had just set the watch. And they blew the trumpets and smashed the jars that were in their hands.

(Judges 7:20)  Then the three companies blew the trumpets and broke the jars. They held in their left hands the torches, and in their right hands the trumpets to blow. And they cried out, "A sword for the LORD and for Gideon!"

(Judges 7:21)  Every man stood in his place around the camp, and all the army ran. They cried out and fled.

(Judges 7:22)  When they blew the 300 trumpets, the LORD set every man's sword against his comrade and against all the army. And the army fled as far as Beth-shittah toward Zererah, as far as the border of Abel-meholah, by Tabbath.

(Judges 7:23)  And the men of Israel were called out from Naphtali and from Asher and from all Manasseh, and they pursued after Midian.

(Judges 7:24)  Gideon sent messengers throughout all the hill country of Ephraim, saying, "Come down against the Midianites and capture the waters against them, as far as Beth-barah, and also the Jordan." So all the men of Ephraim were called out, and they captured the waters as far as Beth-barah, and also the Jordan.

(Judges 7:25)  And they captured the two princes of Midian, Oreb and Zeeb. They killed Oreb at the rock of Oreb, and Zeeb they killed at the winepress of Zeeb. Then they pursued Midian, and they brought the heads of Oreb and Zeeb to Gideon across the Jordan.

It is awesome how many times God would turn and save the children of Israel from various enemies in the book of Judges, and He would do it later on, sometimes using Israel to inflict judgment on others. Another example of such deliverance would happen in 2 Chronicles

Jehoshaphat from 3 invading armies

Here is the next example of deliverance, this time from an invasion from three nations. Note prayer can help bring about deliverances, as it helped here and also with Hezekiah. Also note that this was totally of God, just like the deliverance of judges, the Israelites in both stories never had to do any fighting.

(2 Chronicles 20:1)  After this the Moabites and Ammonites, and with them some of the Meunites, came against Jehoshaphat for battle.

(2 Chronicles 20:2)  Some men came and told Jehoshaphat, "A great multitude is coming against you from Edom, from beyond the sea; and, behold, they are in Hazazon-tamar" (that is, Engedi).

(2 Chronicles 20:3)  Then Jehoshaphat was afraid and set his face to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.

(2 Chronicles 20:4)  And Judah assembled to seek help from the LORD; from all the cities of Judah they came to seek the LORD.

(2 Chronicles 20:5)  And Jehoshaphat stood in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the LORD, before the new court,

(2 Chronicles 20:6)  and said, "O LORD, God of our fathers, are you not God in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. In your hand are power and might, so that none is able to withstand you.

(2 Chronicles 20:7)  Did you not, our God, drive out the inhabitants of this land before your people Israel, and give it forever to the descendants of Abraham your friend?

(2 Chronicles 20:8)  And they have lived in it and have built for you in it a sanctuary for your name, saying,

(2 Chronicles 20:9)  'If disaster comes upon us, the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house and before you--for your name is in this house--and cry out to you in our affliction, and you will hear and save.'

(2 Chronicles 20:10)  And now behold, the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir, whom you would not let Israel invade when they came from the land of Egypt, and whom they avoided and did not destroy--

(2 Chronicles 20:11)  behold, they reward us by coming to drive us out of your possession, which you have given us to inherit.

(2 Chronicles 20:12)  O our God, will you not execute judgment on them? For we are powerless against this great horde that is coming against us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you."

(2 Chronicles 20:13)  Meanwhile all Judah stood before the LORD, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.

(2 Chronicles 20:14)  And the Spirit of the LORD came upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, son of Benaiah, son of Jeiel, son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, in the midst of the assembly.

(2 Chronicles 20:15)  And he said, "Listen, all Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat: Thus says the LORD to you, 'Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed at this great horde, for the battle is not yours but God's.

(2 Chronicles 20:16)  Tomorrow go down against them. Behold, they will come up by the ascent of Ziz. You will find them at the end of the valley, east of the wilderness of Jeruel.

(2 Chronicles 20:17)  You will not need to fight in this battle. Stand firm, hold your position, and see the salvation of the LORD on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem.' Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed. Tomorrow go out against them, and the LORD will be with you."

(2 Chronicles 20:18)  Then Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell down before the LORD, worshiping the LORD.

(2 Chronicles 20:19)  And the Levites, of the Kohathites and the Korahites, stood up to praise the LORD, the God of Israel, with a very loud voice.

(2 Chronicles 20:20)  And they rose early in the morning and went out into the wilderness of Tekoa. And when they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, "Hear me, Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem! Believe in the LORD your God, and you will be established; believe his prophets, and you will succeed."

(2 Chronicles 20:21)  And when he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed those who were to sing to the LORD and praise him in holy attire, as they went before the army, and say, "Give thanks to the LORD, for his steadfast love endures forever."

(2 Chronicles 20:22)  And when they began to sing and praise, the LORD set an ambush against the men of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah, so that they were routed.

(2 Chronicles 20:23)  For the men of Ammon and Moab rose against the inhabitants of Mount Seir, devoting them to destruction, and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, they all helped to destroy one another.

(2 Chronicles 20:24)  When Judah came to the watchtower of the wilderness, they looked toward the horde, and behold, there were dead bodies lying on the ground; none had escaped.

(2 Chronicles 20:25)  When Jehoshaphat and his people came to take their spoil, they found among them, in great numbers, goods, clothing, and precious things, which they took for themselves until they could carry no more. They were three days in taking the spoil, it was so much.

(2 Chronicles 20:26)  On the fourth day they assembled in the Valley of Beracah, for there they blessed the LORD. Therefore the name of that place has been called the Valley of Beracah to this day.

(2 Chronicles 20:27)  Then they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, and Jehoshaphat at their head, returning to Jerusalem with joy, for the LORD had made them rejoice over their enemies.

(2 Chronicles 20:28)  They came to Jerusalem with harps and lyres and trumpets, to the house of the LORD.

(2 Chronicles 20:29)  And the fear of God came on all the kingdoms of the countries when they heard that the LORD had fought against the enemies of Israel.

(2 Chronicles 20:30)  So the realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet, for his God gave him rest all around.

Note also how they praised God too for the deliverance, fear coming on Israel’s enemies when they heard what God had done there for Israel, and then it was quiet. The next story is king Hezekiah

Hezekiah from Assyrian invasion and sickness

Here is the story of how Hezekiah was delivered both from an invasion from Assyria but also sickness later in these verses, also a miraculous sign given, too, with the sun going back.

(Isaiah 37:21)  Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, "Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: Because you have prayed to me concerning Sennacherib king of Assyria,

(Isaiah 37:22)  this is the word that the LORD has spoken concerning him: "'She despises you, she scorns you-- the virgin daughter of Zion; she wags her head behind you-- the daughter of Jerusalem.

(Isaiah 37:23)  "'Whom have you mocked and reviled? Against whom have you raised your voice and lifted your eyes to the heights? Against the Holy One of Israel!

(Isaiah 37:24)  By your servants you have mocked the Lord, and you have said, With my many chariots I have gone up the heights of the mountains, to the far recesses of Lebanon, to cut down its tallest cedars, its choicest cypresses, to come to its remotest height, its most fruitful forest.

(Isaiah 37:25)  I dug wells and drank waters, to dry up with the sole of my foot all the streams of Egypt.

(Isaiah 37:26)  "'Have you not heard that I determined it long ago? I planned from days of old what now I bring to pass, that you should make fortified cities crash into heaps of ruins,

(Isaiah 37:27)  while their inhabitants, shorn of strength, are dismayed and confounded, and have become like plants of the field and like tender grass, like grass on the housetops, blighted before it is grown.

(Isaiah 37:28)  "'I know your sitting down and your going out and coming in, and your raging against me.

(Isaiah 37:29)  Because you have raged against me and your complacency has come to my ears, I will put my hook in your nose and my bit in your mouth, and I will turn you back on the way by which you came.'

(Isaiah 37:30)  "And this shall be the sign for you: this year you shall eat what grows of itself, and in the second year what springs from that. Then in the third year sow and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat their fruit.

(Isaiah 37:31)  And the surviving remnant of the house of Judah shall again take root downward and bear fruit upward.

(Isaiah 37:32)  For out of Jerusalem shall go a remnant, and out of Mount Zion a band of survivors. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.

(Isaiah 37:33)  "Therefore thus says the LORD concerning the king of Assyria: He shall not come into this city or shoot an arrow there or come before it with a shield or cast up a siege mound against it.

(Isaiah 37:34)  By the way that he came, by the same he shall return, and he shall not come into this city, declares the LORD.

(Isaiah 37:35)  For I will defend this city to save it, for my own sake and for the sake of my servant David."

(Isaiah 37:36)  And the angel of the LORD went out and struck down a hundred and eighty-five thousand in the camp of the Assyrians. And when people arose early in the morning, behold, these were all dead bodies.

(Isaiah 37:37)  Then Sennacherib king of Assyria departed and returned home and lived at Nineveh.

(Isa 37:38)  And as he was worshiping in the house of Nisroch his god, Adrammelech and Sharezer, his sons, struck him down with the sword. And after they escaped into the land of Ararat, Esarhaddon his son reigned in his place.

(Isaiah 38:1)  In those days Hezekiah became sick and was at the point of death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him, and said to him, "Thus says the LORD: Set your house in order, for you shall die, you shall not recover."

(Isaiah 38:2)  Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the LORD,

(Isaiah 38:3)  and said, "Please, O LORD, remember how I have walked before you in faithfulness and with a whole heart, and have done what is good in your sight." And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

(Isaiah 38:4)  Then the word of the LORD came to Isaiah:

(Isa 38:5)  "Go and say to Hezekiah, Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father: I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. Behold, I will add fifteen years to your life.

(Isaiah 38:6)  I will deliver you and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria, and will defend this city.

(Isaiah 38:7)  "This shall be the sign to you from the LORD, that the LORD will do this thing that he has promised:

(Isaiah 38:8)  Behold, I will make the shadow cast by the declining sun on the dial of Ahaz turn back ten steps." So the sun turned back on the dial the ten steps by which it had declined.

That is a very powerful sign that the Lord gave Isaiah causing the sun to move back, and so merciful to give him the extra years. Note again the importance of prayer, which Hezekiah new and used. Next is the story of someone delivered from a massive demonic possession.

Deliverance of the Gadderene demoniac Mark 5 1-20

Here is a story of a man possessed by a legion of demons until Jesus rescued him from his condition, and he was restored to his right mind then had him testify about what God had done for him in his own home town.

(Mark 5:1)  They came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gerasenes.

(Mark 5:2)  And when Jesus had stepped out of the boat, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit.

(Mark 5:3)  He lived among the tombs. And no one could bind him anymore, not even with a chain,

(Mark 5:4)  for he had often been bound with shackles and chains, but he wrenched the chains apart, and he broke the shackles in pieces. No one had the strength to subdue him.

(Mark 5:5)  Night and day among the tombs and on the mountains he was always crying out and cutting himself with stones.

(Mark 5:6)  And when he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and fell down before him.

(Mark 5:7)  And crying out with a loud voice, he said, "What have you to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I adjure you by God, do not torment me."

(Mark 5:8)  For he was saying to him, "Come out of the man, you unclean spirit!"

(Mark 5:9)  And Jesus asked him, "What is your name?" He replied, "My name is Legion, for we are many."

(Mark 5:10)  And he begged him earnestly not to send them out of the country.

(Mark 5:11)  Now a great herd of pigs was feeding there on the hillside,

(Mark 5:12)  and they begged him, saying, "Send us to the pigs; let us enter them."

(Mark 5:13)  So he gave them permission. And the unclean spirits came out, and entered the pigs, and the herd, numbering about two thousand, rushed down the steep bank into the sea and were drowned in the sea.

(Mark 5:14)  The herdsmen fled and told it in the city and in the country. And people came to see what it was that had happened.

(Mark 5:15)  And they came to Jesus and saw the demon-possessed man, the one who had had the legion, sitting there, clothed and in his right mind, and they were afraid.

(Mark 5:16)  And those who had seen it described to them what had happened to the demon-possessed man and to the pigs.

(Mark 5:17)  And they began to beg Jesus to depart from their region.

(Mark 5:18)  As he was getting into the boat, the man who had been possessed with demons begged him that he might be with him.

(Mark 5:19)  And he did not permit him but said to him, "Go home to your friends and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you."

(Mark 5:20)  And he went away and began to proclaim in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him, and everyone marveled.

The newly delivered became a witness with a powerful testimony, and many who heard the story wondered. The next story about is of Paul and his sea voyage

Paul and those on the boat with him from sea storm acts 27

Here is the story of part of Paul’s voyage to Rome and how God rescued Paul and all those on board, protecting all from a severe storm, even though the ship itself was destroyed by the storm. Yet the debris from the shipwreck helped some aboard the ship get to shore.

(Acts 27:1)  And when it was decided that we should sail for Italy, they delivered Paul and some other prisoners to a centurion of the Augustan Cohort named Julius.

(Acts 27:2)  And embarking in a ship of Adramyttium, which was about to sail to the ports along the coast of Asia, we put to sea, accompanied by Aristarchus, a Macedonian from Thessalonica.

(Acts 27:3)  The next day we put in at Sidon. And Julius treated Paul kindly and gave him leave to go to his friends and be cared for.

(Acts 27:4)  And putting out to sea from there we sailed under the lee of Cyprus, because the winds were against us.

(Acts 27:5)  And when we had sailed across the open sea along the coast of Cilicia and Pamphylia, we came to Myra in Lycia.

(Acts 27:6)  There the centurion found a ship of Alexandria sailing for Italy and put us on board.

(Acts 27:7)  We sailed slowly for a number of days and arrived with difficulty off Cnidus, and as the wind did not allow us to go farther, we sailed under the lee of Crete off Salmone.

(Acts 27:8)  Coasting along it with difficulty, we came to a place called Fair Havens, near which was the city of Lasea.

(Acts 27:9)  Since much time had passed, and the voyage was now dangerous because even the Fast was already over, Paul advised them,

(Acts 27:10)  saying, "Sirs, I perceive that the voyage will be with injury and much loss, not only of the cargo and the ship, but also of our lives."

(Acts 27:11)  But the centurion paid more attention to the pilot and to the owner of the ship than to what Paul said.

(Acts 27:12)  And because the harbor was not suitable to spend the winter in, the majority decided to put out to sea from there, on the chance that somehow they could reach Phoenix, a harbor of Crete, facing both southwest and northwest, and spend the winter there.

(Acts 27:13)  Now when the south wind blew gently, supposing that they had obtained their purpose, they weighed anchor and sailed along Crete, close to the shore.

(Acts 27:14)  But soon a tempestuous wind, called the northeaster, struck down from the land.

(Acts 27:15)  And when the ship was caught and could not face the wind, we gave way to it and were driven along.

(Acts 27:16)  Running under the lee of a small island called Cauda, we managed with difficulty to secure the ship's boat.

(Acts 27:17)  After hoisting it up, they used supports to undergird the ship. Then, fearing that they would run aground on the Syrtis, they lowered the gear, and thus they were driven along.

(Acts 27:18)  Since we were violently storm-tossed, they began the next day to jettison the cargo.

(Acts 27:19)  And on the third day they threw the ship's tackle overboard with their own hands.

(Acts 27:20)  When neither sun nor stars appeared for many days, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope of our being saved was at last abandoned.

(Acts 27:21)  Since they had been without food for a long time, Paul stood up among them and said, "Men, you should have listened to me and not have set sail from Crete and incurred this injury and loss.

(Acts 27:22)  Yet now I urge you to take heart, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship.

(Acts 27:23)  For this very night there stood before me an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I worship,

(Acts 27:24)  and he said, 'Do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before Caesar. And behold, God has granted you all those who sail with you.'

(Acts 27:25)  So take heart, men, for I have faith in God that it will be exactly as I have been told.

(Acts 27:26)  But we must run aground on some island."

(Acts 27:27)  When the fourteenth night had come, as we were being driven across the Adriatic Sea, about midnight the sailors suspected that they were nearing land.

(Acts 27:28)  So they took a sounding and found twenty fathoms. A little farther on they took a sounding again and found fifteen fathoms.

(Acts 27:29)  And fearing that we might run on the rocks, they let down four anchors from the stern and prayed for day to come.

(Acts 27:30)  And as the sailors were seeking to escape from the ship, and had lowered the ship's boat into the sea under pretense of laying out anchors from the bow,

(Acts 27:31)  Paul said to the centurion and the soldiers, "Unless these men stay in the ship, you cannot be saved."

(Acts 27:32)  Then the soldiers cut away the ropes of the ship's boat and let it go.

(Acts 27:33)  As day was about to dawn, Paul urged them all to take some food, saying, "Today is the fourteenth day that you have continued in suspense and without food, having taken nothing.

(Acts 27:34)  Therefore I urge you to take some food. For it will give you strength, for not a hair is to perish from the head of any of you."

(Acts 27:35)  And when he had said these things, he took bread, and giving thanks to God in the presence of all he broke it and began to eat.

(Acts 27:36)  Then they all were encouraged and ate some food themselves.

(Acts 27:37)  (We were in all 276 persons in the ship.)

(Acts 27:38)  And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, throwing out the wheat into the sea.

(Acts 27:39)  Now when it was day, they did not recognize the land, but they noticed a bay with a beach, on which they planned if possible to run the ship ashore.

(Acts 27:40)  So they cast off the anchors and left them in the sea, at the same time loosening the ropes that tied the rudders. Then hoisting the foresail to the wind they made for the beach.

(Acts 27:41)  But striking a reef, they ran the vessel aground. The bow stuck and remained immovable, and the stern was being broken up by the surf.

(Acts 27:42)  The soldiers' plan was to kill the prisoners, lest any should swim away and escape.

(Acts 27:43)  But the centurion, wishing to save Paul, kept them from carrying out their plan. He ordered those who could swim to jump overboard first and make for the land,

(Acts 27:44)  and the rest on planks or on pieces of the ship. And so it was that all were brought safely to land.

Powerful story of how all made it safely to land. Paul was largely saved so he could testify and witness in Rome. Now here is the last story of how God will rescue His from the coming tribulation and end times period, which will be far more devastating than all of the prior scenarios(with the  exception of the flood, which also was global, and wiped out everything and everyone else other than Noah, his family and what animals they took with them).

Rapture

I will conclude and wrap this study up by saying that the way people are now(not unlike the way they were at Noah’s time and also Sodom, things which Jesus prophesied about in scriptures in Matthew, Mark and Luke)and all the many other end times signs which are occurring currently(animals dying, food prices rising, wars, rumors of wars, crazy weather and so on) are birth pangs of the coming tribulation period and  sure signs the rapture is not far way, indeed, I still believe that the rapture could be any day at any time, of which the Heavenly Father only knows). So cheer up, your redemption is drawing closer and closer every day that passes. Also please remember that  Jesus loves you more than You know, and also by posting this about the rapture, too, which does duplicate some of the scriptures, but that is for emphasis for the rapture is too important and you absolutely DO NOT want to miss it:

THE RAPTURE IS IMMINENT!!! ARE YOU READY????

I am very strongly led to believe the rapture is very imminent, and could happen any day at anytime at all. Nobody knows the exact time for the rapture but the Father God Himself. I cannot strongly enough advise all of you to get your hearts right with Jesus by asking the Holy Spirit to reveal to you if there is any Sin /iniquity/ uncleanness in your heart, mind etc and repenting of any and all items brought to your mind right away, asking the Holy Spirit to cleanse you and your garments so that they are spotless, being washed by the blood of Jesus. I am a man, needing the blood of Jesus for cleansing as much as everyone else, and believe me I am doing the same thing. This repenting is a continuous process, not just a one time thing; I have found that I myself have been repenting several times throughout the day. I know that it will be God's grace and mercy ONLY that I make the rapture, not anything I do, I am well aware of the fact that grace alone being what saves, and not works lest any should boast, but also faith without works is dead so I am sharing this with everyone, in the hopes that a few, even just one person, would wake up in time, and repent, for the remaining time here is very short.

I post and share this document for I deeply care for people and DO NOT want anyone to miss the rapture and find themselves left behind to face the 7 year tribulations which will follow the rapture which will be pure a horrific time on earth, the most horrific ever, in fact, where you will have to hide in caves or in mountains, away from all the evil and very selfish people, be an absolute survival expert, which many are not and absolutely refuse at all costs to take the mark of the beast(666).As a result of your refusal to take this mark, you won’t be able to buy or sell anything, work, eat, live in a normal way, and so on, and most likely you’ll be killed for it, but that is far better than taking the mark and ending up in the lake of fire for eternity, as each and every man and woman  who take the mark of the beast will end up in the lake of fire, where there will be absolutely no rest from their torment night or day(Revelation 14).  Even doing all the precautions, hiding by getting away from all population centers and into the mountains, and so on may not be enough because many if not most people, in fact will not survive the judgments that God will pour out on the world in this time period, in the seal, trumpet and bowl judgments as well as the judgment and destruction of the daughter of Babylon. All these events are described in good detail in the book of Revelation in chapters 6 through 18, which I strongly advise all to read. Here is a link an excellent animated video of the entire book of revelation for you to watch

The tribulation period of seven years absolutely will make today's evil world seem like life in paradise by comparison. I very strongly suggest reading the book of Revelation chapters 6 through 18 which tell you specifically what sort of events and judgments the world will see during this tribulation period.

Here are some rapture related scriptures:

(1 Corinthians 15:51) Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

(1 Corinthians 15:52) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

(1Thessolonians 4:16) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

(1Thessolonians 4:17) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

God wants to keep us from this tribulation by His love and mercy Because thou has kept the word of my patience, I ALSO WILL KEEP THEE FROM THE HOUR OF TEMPTATION, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth."  The implication of this verse is obvious:  If the end-time Christian does NOT stay close to the Lord and endure to the end, HE WILL NOT BE KEPT FROM THE TRIBULATION HOUR Revelation 3 verse 10, so it is IMPERATIVE to stay close to the Lord in these last days.

Now I have a very special warning message to all those who are lukewarm Christians to repent of this condition and to be on fire for Jesus or Jesus will surely spit you out of the rapture(see verse 16, below) and you will go through the seven year tribulation as it says in Revelation 3 14-22. There are FAR TOO MANY are in this condition the Holy Spirit warned me this AM. There are FAR TOO MANY LAODICEANS today. Please REPENT NOW of your lukewarmness and be on fire for the Lord before it is too late and you miss the rapture as a result of your being lukewarm!! Here are the verses in Revelation chapter 3 concerning the Laodicean church:

(Revelation 3:14) And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

(Revelation 3:15) I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

(Revelation 3:16) So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

(Revelation 3:17) Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

(Revelation 3:18) I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

(Revelation 3:19) As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

(Revelation 3:20) Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

(Revelation 3:21) To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

(Revelation 3:22) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Summarizing, you MUST all be ready for this coming rapture, AND be on FIRE for Jesus, and not be at all lukewarm but loving Jesus with ALL Your heart, mind and soul as commanded in the bible, in several places in both the old and new testaments. If in case you need to receive the Lord please pray the following prayer (backsliders can also use this prayer to repent of their sin and lukewarmness and recommit their lives, and return to their first love, Jesus. Please do so NOW before it is too late)

Dear God in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness. I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin. You said in Your Holy Word, Romans 10:9 that if we confess Jesus as our Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we will be saved. Right now I confess Jesus as the Lord of my soul. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved. Thank you Jesus for your unlimited grace which has saved me from my sins. I thank you Jesus that your grace never leads to license, but rather it always leads to repentance. Therefore Lord Jesus transform my life so that I may bring glory and honor to you alone and not to myself. Thank you Jesus for dying for me and giving me eternal life.

Amen.

Here are 10 steps that can be of help to be ready for the soon to come rapture:

1. Make sure that you have received Jesus Christ into your life as your PERSONAL Lord and Savior(see the salvation prayer above and use it if need be).

2. Examine your own heart for any signs of backsliding, worldliness, unwatchfulness, compromising, and lukewarmness.

3. REPENT (Turn COMPLETELY away from sin and turn COMPLETELY around towards Jesus).  Sin separates you from God, even as a Christian.

4. Study end-time Biblical prophecy(Daniel 7-12, Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 17, 21, 1 Corinthians 15, 1 Thessalonians 4 and 5, other places but the  book of Revelation in particular)  until you become completely convinced that His Coming is, indeed, AT THE DOOR.  This will help keep you from temptation and sin.  JESUS IS COMING VERY SOON!!! Lord help me be absolutely convinced YOU ARE at the door!!!!!

5. Do something for the Lord.  (Passing out tracts would be a good start.)

6. Examine your priorities, lest the CARES OF THIS LIFE cause YOU to MISS THE RAPTURE, as we are so adamantly WARNED about in Luke 21, and so many other Scriptures.

7. Draw closer to God by praying, reading His Word, attending a fundamental church as often as possible, and surround yourself with a Christian atmosphere (Christian friends, books, music, radio, TV, etc.)

8. PRAY DILIGENTLY.  ASK THE LORD TO REVEAL TO YOU ANYTHING IN YOUR LIFE THAT EVEN MIGHT KEEP YOU FROM THE RAPTURE.  PRAY THAT THE LORD WOULD GIVE YOU A PEACE, IF YOU ARE READY, AND AN UNREST AND UNEASINESS IN YOUR HEART, IF YOU ARE NOT READY.

9. Listen for His voice and then STAY OPEN TO THE LEADING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

10. Act upon that which the Lord is calling you to do. DO IT NOW BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!

Please also pray and ask the Lord Jesus to see if you are indeed ready and to give you peace if you and If the Lord has planted even the least bit of doubt or uneasiness in your heart, will you swallow your pride and pray this prayer with me:

"Dear Lord, Thank you for preparing a WAY OF ESCAPE from the horrible Tribulation to come.  It is my sincere desire to be ready for your Soon Return, so that I can participate in the Rapture. Give me a COMPLETE PEACE IN MY HEART FROM YOU if I am, indeed, ready. Let there be no false sense of security in my heart concerning my readiness for Your Return.  Begin to reveal to me things in my life and in my heart that might keep me from the Rapture.  Show me what I need to do to BE READY and then give me the power to act upon that which you show me to do.  Draw me away from the world and closer to you every day.  Use me in whatever way you can to help others

who may not be ready for your Return.  Fill me with your peace when I am ready and fill me with YOUR POWER, for victory over sin and temptation, and for effective service for your kingdom.  In Jesus' mighty name, Amen

If, by an unfortunate chance, you are finding yourself reading this testimony after the rapture has happened, and you find that you have missed it, everything is not lost by any means, just please pray immediately to accept the Lord Jesus as savior and /or recommit your life to Him, repenting of anything  and everything that you have done that has caused you to miss the rapture, especially such things as being lukewarm and whatever else you may do during that time absolutely DO NOT TAKE THE MARK OF THE BEAST OR YOU WILL SPEND ETERNITY IN THE LAKE OF FIRE!!!!!(taking the mark of the beast means you are essentially married to Satan, the antichrist, the beast and false prophet,  ALL OF WHOM ARE DESTINED FOR THE LAKE OF FIRE, AS ARE ALL WHO TAKE THEIR MARK ON THEIR FOREHEAD OR HAND). IT IS NOT AT ALL FORGIVABLE TO TAKE THIS MARK- so again you must avoid taking this mark AT ALL COSTS you won’t be able to buy, sell, work, and so on, you will have to hide, living in the forest and away from civilization, face jail, torture, and be executed for refusing the mark. If you do die for refusing to take the mark of the beast, if you are Jesus’ you will go to heaven immediately as a tribulation saint and martyr spoken of in the book of revelation. I cannot strongly stress the point enough to NEVER, EVER accept the mark of the beast, no matter what!!!! It will be well worth it to lose everything and everyone in this world, including your life so as  to not have to spend all eternity in hell and the lake of fire, where again there will be never any rest on your torment day or night.
