Book of Jeremiah bible study chapters 37 through 45
Here are the next nine chapters of the book of Jeremiah which include the preparations to and the actual capture of Babylon, the king of Judah, Zedekiah, and even Jeremiah is captured too, all in fulfillment to prophecy. Jeremiah here too faces persecution and imprisonment from his enemies who hate the message he gives, and more than once refuse to hear the messages of Jeremiah even though they are from God for their own good but God protects Jeremiah from all of his enemies who would otherwise want to kill him. Book of Jeremiah bible study chapters 46 through 52
Here is the final part of the book of Jeremiah, the seven chapters from chapter 46 through chapter 52 which deals with prophecies of mainly judgment on the various nations and people groups , about coming captivity of many, but also again how Israel and some others also will be restored from captivities they are to undergo. Some of the prophecies in this section are end times related and have yet to be fulfilled in full, but they will be, probably in the seven year tribulation or just before. Book of Lamentations bible study
Here is a collection of Lamentations of the prophet Jeremiah, which are over all of the sin and evil of Jerusalem and Judah had committed and the punishment God had rightly inflicted on them for all of this sin and evil that were done. There are also prayers and supplications to God for mercy for the people of Judah and Jerusalem as well. This is a continuation in many ways to the book of Jeremiah where Jeremiah then had to prophecy this entire calamity after trying in vain to get the people of Judah to repent of their evil, which did happen to punish Judah and Jerusalem for all of their evils that they had done.
