Hebrews 2:11-13
Both the one who makes men holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers. He says, “I will declare your name to my brothers; in the presence of the congregation I will sing your praises.” And again, “I will put my trust in him.” And again he says, “Here am I, and the children God has given me.”
Now that Jesus has made us believers holy, we are the same as He is. It is no longer a holy God and sinful people. We are called holy too, just like Jesus. We are given His goodness. This is because we admitted our utter sinfulness and inability to be good. Quite the paradox, isn’t it? This is a case of the first being last and the last, first. This fantastic revelation is found right in our verse. Believers are in God’s family now.

We must believe in the simple sentence that saves, but we must believe according to the scriptures. What is the simple sentence that saves? Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, He was buried, and on the third day He rose from the dead according to the scriptures. Faith in this simple sentence, plus nothing, is all you must do to be saved and stay saved. And what are the scriptures that Paul refers to in 1 Corinthians 15:3&4? All of the Old Testament.
We cannot say we believe in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus for our sins if it’s not according to the scriptures. We must believe in the real Jesus, not another Jesus that someone made up. We must accept the real gospel of Paul, not another gospel, or we will be anathema. This word means (eternally condemned).
The real Jesus must be sent from the eternal God. The real Jesus is fully man and at the same time, fully God. The real Jesus must have been born in...

THE BIG MEAN MASTER

God had a problem. There was a world full of people whom He loved, who were separated from Him. God’s one and best chance to bring the separated ones back to Him was His only Son Jesus.
Jesus came into the world to pay a big mean master. This big mean master is called Sin. The payment Sin wanted was death. Death means separation, both physical and spiritual.
So Jesus lived to be 33 years old, the number of completion, and He never sinned once. He never made the big mean master His master. So this made it possible for Jesus to die for the people.
Death is like money. Jesus now had the ability to pay Sin with death. Since Jesus never sinned Himself, He did not pay for Himself. So this means that He paid for others. When the perfect Christ had the sins of the world placed in His body on the tree, it was like the world was dying on the cross, and paying off Sin. And Jesus was that world.
