Evening Prayer
Evening Prayer 2
Let the evening shadows cast,
While stars emerge and night
Creatures evoke my thoughts.
Branches of trees stretch
To the heavens in a mystical
Silhouette.
When to sleep and cast away
Anger and worries that
Seeped into the day.
I pray that I can count all
My blessing as I drift into
The land of dreams.
Joyce Gale 2010-2014
