In the still of the night, while stars are shining bright. The storms of the day seem so far,far away. I may sleep drifting to far off realms where senses deem to overwhelm my soul. But I know that You, My God, do guide me through the deep and distant night that to keep me still in Thy Sight. In Jesus name. Amen.

Lord clear our minds of clutter, let us be still on this new day. Let us be still, resting in Your presence. Let us be still breathing in Your love. Let us be still in the quiteness of Your peace. In Jesus name. Amen.

Keep us safe Lord this new day. There is still a chill wind over the land. Bring us Your shield against pitfalls, our hope is in You Lord our Shepherd. For You are the victory of our faith. In Jesus name. Amen.

How the sky glows
In the morning light
A disappearing moon
Showing its fading white.
Haunting trees emerge
To show their form
From all of yesterdays
Passing storm
Peace hangs expectant
Over all the land
Waiting for Gods
Miraculous hand. Amen

It is time to close the curtains on another day. Our heartfelt thanks is what we pray. The stars will soon be seen like flowers in the universal scheme. Your angels Lord watch us while we sleep. with heatfelt dreams in which to keep. Till the morning comes with Your eternal light. In Jesus name. Amen.

You our Shepherd listen to us where ever we are. You are in the clouds, the showery rain. The snow flakes, the blossoms, the flower on the window ledge. The smile on a strangers face. You are in our hearts Lord. Thank You. In Jesus name. Amen.

There may be many clouds today Lord but they will lift and the warmth of the sun will give us joy. Soon the snowdrops will bloom on a February day to brin g hope that spring is on the way. As we have hope in You Lord to hold a light in our hearts. In Jesus name. Amen.
