Each star is like a flower embroidered in the sky by the hand of God. Stragically placed they sparkle like diamonds that are eternal. When darkness comes hope is in You Lord our refuge of wonder. In Jesus name. Amen.
Sleep
I may sleep ere the night
To remain in Your eternal light
And drifting to Your far off realms
Where senses deem to over whelm
My soul. But I know that You
My God, do guide me through
The deep and distant night
That to keep me still in thy sight
To wake on return of a day
Sometimes I cannot pray.
Sometimes I cannot pray
For my mind is full of clutter
Sometimes I cannot pray
For my spirit is low
Sometimes I cannot pray
For there seems no answer
Sometimes I cannot pray
For You seem far away
Sometimes I cannot pray
Awake our eyes Lord to the beauty of thy world. Awake our hearts Lord to love those who do us wrong. Awake our hearts Lord to work for thy name. Awake our spirit Lord to know You walk with us. In Jesus name. Amen.
Lord sometimes we feel like the weakest link, but it most likely an important one. We have a part to play in God's mystery of life. Help us to step in faith for the out come we do not know. For Yours Lord is the Kingdom of light, You are our armour. In Jesus name. Amen.
Lord You touch us with Your words. You touch us and heal us of past sins and fears. You touch us with love devine that never ceases deep in our soul. Help us to be worthy of Your devotion and calling. In Jesus name. Amen.
A New Day.
To see the light of the day
Drifting through the cracks
I am reminded that Your
Light Lord lightens the darkest
Hour. For You have given a new
Day a new start, and to rise with
The joy of life which only You
Can empower. Each step enfolds
As Your light swamps the universe
It is a new morning where the sun shines threw the bare trees of winter. The soil is parched but the signs of life are there. The birds are silent but soon the trees will be full of chatter. You Lord our Shepherd are in all this picture of hope we have for the coming hour and day upon days. In Jesus name. Amen.
