We sometimes lack courage to go forward to the unknown, by the Lords word we pray we will be strong when we are weak. For by his mercy he rescued us from the pit of misery. He fills our heart with joy and he is with us everystep of the way. In Jesus name. Amen.

The ocean is very deep, but Your love Lord is deeper. The heavens are very high but Your love Lord is higher. You Lord are the love that holds us together, You are in our pain, in our joy, in our sleep and in our waking. You are the light before us, You are everything. In Jesus name. Amen.

Lord help us to leave the past behind and move forward to a newday and new year. We try to live in harmony with Your purpose. Be with us to keep in tune with your presense and word as we give praise to Your wonders. In Jesus name. Amen.

Lord we journey here on earth through doubt and sorrow. You came as a babe to bring us a rainbow of hope. You are the light in our darkness, You are the wonder that angels sing for joy. Lord lift our voices in praise of Your glorious event to be ever in our heart. In Jesus name. Amen.

The Star

Far away over yonder hills

A star shines very bright

In the fields the shepherds

Wait for the coming of the night,

They gather in their roaming

Sheep, to keep them safe and sound

When an angel of the Lord

Appeared with rapture all around

Go follow that star he said

And you will surely find

The Prince of Peace is born this day

The saviour of mankind

With anticipation in there steps

The shepherds went their way

And found a new born babe

In a manger he did lay.

They saw the mother Mary

A smile upon her face

With Joseph the whole scene

Was filled with love and grace,

The angels sang a lullaby

Which filled the air with joy

So we come at Christmas Time

To praise this little boy.

Lord how great are You. When the stars shine you are our shephard who watches over us into the night. After a day of work we rest in Your peace. We thank you for the pillow at our head and Your angels which quide us gently into sleep to be refreshed for a new day. In Jesus name. Amen.

As a child we are like a plant that grows and seeks the sun, rain and light. It blossoms as it matures. Lord we seek Your light today as we can blossom in the sun, and feel the rain of your blessing. Thank you for your son. In Jesus name. Amen.

The cool mist in the morning quickly disappears to bring warmth of the sun. To bring new hope to the day. God is everywhere in the smell of the rose and the vast night full of stars. In the snow laden tree in winter whose roots run deep into the soil. Lord our soul runs deep in Jesus this day and always. In Jesus name. Amen.
