Linda Boles

My journey in music spans decades, from my roots in my family’s bluegrass band to my time in various genres, including folk and rock.  My life experiences, including personal tragedies and triumphs, have deeply influenced my songwriting.  After my first husband’s unexpected death in 1982, the Lord started inspiring me to write songs.  This led to opportunities to share my music ministry through concerts, recordings and Radio and TV appearances.  I would like to share the first song that the Lord inspired me to write, “The Missionary”.  This song was written about my first husband who was an insurance salesman with the heart of a missionary.  God doesn’t always call us to a far off land to serve as a missionary.  Sometimes, He calls us to be a missionary right where we are.
