Shepherds were in the field with their flocks one night when throughout the
heavens they shone a holy light.
There appeared in the sky angels praising God saying glory to God Almighty now
there is peace on earth and good will to men.
The shepherds feared and trembled and then above the earth there rang an angel
chorus that hailed our Savior's birth.

I bring you good tidings for everyone who hears in the city of David there is
born this day the Savior Christ the Lord.
Born of a virgin girl just as the Bible says he is not too far away in a manger
stall. Go and see him now

Down in a lowly manger the humble Christ was born and God sent us salvation that
blessed Christmas morn.
