Pastor Jonas began preaching in his local church and schools at the age of fourteen years. Due to his commitment to Christ, Pastor Jonas work closely with the school scripture union as a music director, preaching and teaching the good news in his senior high school. In his third year in senior high school he was voted, unopposed, into prefect ship as the school chaplain and God used him to minister both in word and in music to bring students to Christ
