He has even been recognized as a musical genius by the legendary Twinkie Clark. From the time he was a child his gift of music was evident and no time was wasted in its development. At the age of eleven he became a musical leader of his generation displaying his vocal talent and musical ability on the piano and organ. Add to his natural talent an educational background that is equally impressive. He studied piano under jazz matriarch and recording artist Dr. Gertrude “Trudi Pitts” Carney. He attended the esteemed Philadelphia High School for Creative & Performing Arts and graduated as musician of the year in 1994. His education continued at the University of the Arts with concentrated studies in Piano Performance, Music Education, and vocal studies. As founder and director of the recording group "Holiness", he established the group as one of the most sought after opening acts on the East Coast for an entire decade. His expertise as a keyboardist has been compared to that of the late great Thomas Whitfield.
