About
I am a follower of JESUS, a Native American (from the Choctaw and Cherokee tribes), Music Producer, Songwriter, Music Arranger, Guitarist, Vocalist, and Performer. I released my ten track CD, Solutions in December 2006. It features the legendary Rock N Roll Hall of Fame guitarist of THE DOORS, Robby Krieger, performing slide guitar on the first track Mr. Cool Demeanor. Robby was produced by his long time friend Arthur Barrow (Google Arthur Barrow - bass player and bandleader for Frank Zappa). Art also performed on five of the ten tracks on my CD, as well as recording engineer. This song was picked up by Revolution Radio on their TOP 40 CHARTS in London England and went to Number Three, where it remained for ten consecutive weeks. I have also jammed on stage at the Darrell Mansfield Gospel & Blues Society PRO JAM alongside Darrell Mansfield (Blues Hall of Fame & Hohner Hall of Fame artist) and Eric Turner, lead guitarist for Darrell Mansfield and who has played with some of the biggest names in music history. It took me from November 1998 until October 2006 to complete my CD. Looking back, I was determined and focused, that I would complete my CD - on my terms - if it took me till the day the Lord came to take me home. And yes the Lord blessed me beyond my wildest dreams. For two reasons I believe. Number One - I put Him, Jesus the Father, first in my life, read His word and prayed daily. Number two - I did not bury the talent the Lord gave me. Rather I continued on and believe me I had lots of roadblocks. Mainly from Christian brothers and sisters and my family and friends that told me I was wasting my time and my money and that I was seeking self glory. But what they forgot to mention was the Lord had given me the talent to write, play guitar, sing and perform. And I was not going to listen to them but rather listen to God. So, I started, I fought battle after battle that I faced - before, during and after the recording of Solutions. And I finished the race the Lord had put before me and completed it! Amen - Hallelujah Jesus! My purpose in writing, performing and releasing music is to lead people to Jesus Christ. If I can touch the hearts of others through the music the Lord has given me and they can be saved from hell then I am fulfilling the great commission that I have been called to do. Mark 16:15-20 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." 16 "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned." 17 "And these signs will follow those who believe: in My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 "They will take up serpents ; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." 19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen. For bookings email is: asongwarrior@gmail.com

Psalm 36:9 For with thee is the fountain of life, In thy light, we see light.
PSALM 36:9 For with thee is the fountain of life, in thy light shall we see light.
This is one of my favorite verses of scripture that Reverend John MulQueen (a brother biker) has shared on indiegospel.org I read this morning. This reminds me of a book by a brother who was a cook in a monastery in Paris, France. By daily seeking the light of the Lord, Brother Lawrence experienced being in the light of the Lord, in His presence, and saw more light. The book I am referring to is "The Practice of the Presence of God" by Brother Lawrence. Here is a taste and an insight into a man who walked in His light and saw light.
(Begin Quote) "In 1640 he entered a Carmelite monastery in Paris as a lay brother. In a short time he received the brown habit and took the religious name Lawrence of the Resurrection." "For his first ten years as a Carmelite, he suffered a dark depression, exacerbated by feelings of spiritual inadequacy, anxieties, fears and unhappiness in his work. After reaching his conclusion that he would never find the peace he sought, suddenly, "I found myself changed all at once; and my soul, till that time was in trouble, felt a profound inward peace, as if she were in her center and place of rest." This proved the turning point for Brother Lawrence, who would return again and again to this center , to the presence of God. No longer frustrated by his work, he found himself in the presence of God, while peeling potatoes as well as when he was kneeling at prayer. (End of quote)
