About

TLisa (short for Terri-Lisa) has always loved music. Her heart for worship music blossomed early. By age 10, she was writing songs with her older sister while hanging out in the backyard of their Caribbean home. By God's grace, it was writing and singing that kept her, as her young years were scarred by her parents' divorce and other family dysfunction. It was music that drew her in to the power of God's love and that followed her as she dedicated her life to Christ at a young age. And it was music that guided her to serve time and time again in ministry whenever she could lend her voice. She has been a member of several choirs including the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and also the Youth Chorale, where she was occasionally a soloist. In high school, she was a member of her school's award-winning gospel choir and participated in the McDonald Gospel Fest at Madison Square Garden, New York City. She found herself on mission trips where the Lord used her to sing to lost and forgotten children in Guyana and the Dominican Republic; who have been abused and rejected. Over the past five years, she has also led in many capacities in music ministry - as a choir director, worship leader and also children’s ministry worker. In 2007, she wrote "Coming Home" - The Christmas play, which is celebrated 5 anniversaries of success in production and a tour! TLisa music is regularly heard on Internet radio, where she has hundreds of supportive fans! God has truly blessed her as a worship leader, singer and writer. She is excited to see all that he would do as she continues to sing Christian music for Him! Her mission is to avail herself to God's plans, not her own! His refreshing love and grace is able to help us make it through every day of the year!
