Forty Years On - Part One

This year I have been a Christian for forty years. I would have said 'served the Lord', but sometimes I have failed him miserably, only serving myself. Nevertheless, He has always been there, holding me up, preserving my life and moving me on to the next step in His plan for me. I remember that day as though it were yesterday. It was 1969. I had been at an all-night party, arriving home at 6AM. I was to be picked up at 10AM to go to The Billy Graham Crusade. Well, I did go and was sitting with a team of young people from the Local Methodist Church. I had not slept in 24 hour, so, I went to sleep. I awoke sometime later to hear Dr. Graham talking about Armageddon and the battle that would be there. The picture he painted was so vivid, that it was like I was in it. There, God touched my heart and life. I didn't go forward then, but later in the minister's office, I prayed and asked Jesus to take over my life. There is lots more to this story...So stay tuned
