My names are Wangeci Mbogo and I am a gospel artist based in Kenya and live in the Capital City, Nairobi. I have been singing for over 20 years and have produced several albums which can be obtained from itunes on the following link: https://itunes.apple.com/gw/artist/wangeci-mbogo/id332985586 In addition, I have had the privilege of getting nominations in several international awards namely: - Newsome Awards in the U.S. in the “Best International Solo Artist Nominee” category. - American Gospel Music Awards in the U.S. in the “International Artist of the Year Finalist” category. - Gospel Awards in the U.S. in the “International Artist Award Nominee” category. - Musicoz Awards (Australian Independent Music Awards) in the International Artist category. - Rumi World Music Awards in the U.S. representing Kenya. I have also won several international awards, namely: - Hardrush Independent Music Awards in Australia in the “Best Jazz/World Music Award” category. - Newsome Awards in the U.S. in the “International Artist of the Year Award” category. - Australian Independent Music Video awards in the "Best International Music Video" category; - Australian Independent Music Video Awards in the "Best Independent Music Video – Africa” category. I have also had an opportunity to travel for singing engagements to such countries as Australia, Singapore, Mauritius, South Africa, Uganda and Tanzania. I look forward to touring more countries in the future.
