This morning this is what was on my heart. In the reading of Zachariah 29:20-23
Now the prophet Zachariah was a great prophet. And this was his warning to the Israelites or we can call them the people of God that God sent into captivity. God threatens to hand them over to King Nebuchadnezzar who I believe was a pagan King. And if you study and you comprehend how serious God takes his covenant that he made with them despite being graceful you will find out God is not a pushover. And we learned that with Moses also.
In modern-day Christians will tell you we are under grace through faith and not by works. And then there are those Christian evangelist that will tell you nobody is promised another day so get with right with God. (There right) And in scripture when you study the Godhead and you realize the grace of God (Jesus Christ) people could easily slip away and become arrogant and prideful. Do you know the Bible says redeem the time for the days are evil. You see living in sin is ignoring the warning signs. The word of God tells us we should meditate on it day and night. But people need to obey the master and remember whom he is.
