To be honest at first I didn’t plan on watching this and I just heard about it yesterday advertised. Since I did watch it I decided to comment & share.
When I did watch it I found it logical and very a well analysis or should I say comparison or even better analogy was made by preacher (street preacher) Ruben Israel. Even his cohost had some great insight about his own life and marriage and that defiled marriage. This can be a huge topic depending on if people are atheist or believe in some other Jesus and some other gospel etc. But people have perceptions and the body of Christ is huge and worldwide and from generation to generation. There are countless disciples or Christians if we call or refer to them as that and if they really be that including many countless preachers being teachers. Sometimes when A topic is being discussed the various host of believers from various other denominations might understand things differently and take things out of context. But sometimes we are on the same page. There are many different methods of preaching. But this was in relation to the Bride of Christ and is that bride spotless? Is the bride ready for the marriage to the groom. (No) That’s what Ruben implied. Ruben talks about many following other gods with all these pre-notion of conceptions. I don’t wanna get into a total analysis of the show. But I will say that no one on my end is advocating that we go back under the law. You have to have an understanding because if you fall away once you truly are saved and you insult the spirit of grace then it might not be possible to have you grafted back in. There are fruits to people that are truly saved. And for myself particularly if I do any works as a sign of my salvation first of all it is for a reason and is not of my own. The glory always goes to Jesus Christ. You watch the show for yourself. The Bible tells us to examine ourselves to see if we are in the faith. It also tells us to contend for the faith.
After Notes : Do you know Ruben talked about a certain disciple or should I say Christian or maybe prophet was instructed to marry a prostitute. It’s possible she went back into prostitution. Ruben said God instructed such to show what a prostitute was. To demonstrate the unfaithfulness.
Hosea was an Old Testament prophet that God used in a very unique way. Not only did Hosea speak the words of God, but God turned his very life and marriage into a living parable for the people of God to see and witness. The Lord had Hosea marry a prostitute named Gomer.
Samson was brought up somehow. He went to a whore and was betrayed. Very important bible passage, very deep meaning. See: Judges 16
Is the body of Christ ready? Christ said to always be ready. Rubin did not think so. The body of Christ is to be spotless and wrinkle free. There is not even one. Christ will come at an unexpected time. If you assemble hundreds or even thousands of Christians and preachers world wide would they all agree the body of Christ is not ready. Probably not. There would most likely be mixed opinions. Be ready anyways.
