Greener grass on the other side

John 16: 20 - 21

20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy . John 16:20

21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.

During the evil we hear about in the Ukraine and other parts of the world we as Christians have an inheritance. We have passed from death to life. You know the lord Jesus Christ  and I'm talking about the biblical unblemished Lamb of God being the Jewish Rabbi was rejected of his own and was a man well acquainted with sorrow. Although there was nobody who ever walked the face of the earth like him before who was holy and righteous and came from God he still was rejected. And we can go into a whole nine yards on why. Arrogance and pride it's something the true God does not favor at all. Yet Jesus is the Lamb of God and he is the King of all Kings and in fact he and the father are one. Any true Christian or even counterfeit Christian and this would probably include atheists and people of other faiths too with some sense of morals when hearing about the Ukraine would be troubled. If we have a common humanity and we are not selfish then we truly know what love is as this is not good. What is written in John 16:20 about this is true. God has in store great things including rewards for those who love him. But in this world we will have tribulation but we are to be of good cheer because Christ overcame the world. I think as a Christian some worst thoughts I have observed overtime is that many Christians do not understand what a true Christian really is. I think there is a divide between the disciples in the way they were disciple-d in the day of Christ to now. Where they today do have a sense of moral compass but it is so easily moved out of place. We forget to do it. And I know God loves us and helps us but if we are able bodies we have to be doers of that word. You don't do it to earn salvation. If you are truly righteous and you want to glorify God and also give others an answer and reason for the hope that is in you but you are like a little devil that's problematic. And that brings me to what I really wanted to speak about more in depth. People do not understand this. John 10:10 is profound people still do not understand it. People seem to have this notion that everybody goes to heaven in their current evil and rebellious confused or deceived state. We should all do our part. So people hear the grass is greener on the other side. Last week I was talking to a woman who works in an office and I relayed to her I know about the gossip that occurs in offices because I worked in an office once. I told her about the backstabbing and she said she knows but it's fun sometimes. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Man will not live on bread and water alone but by every Idle word that comes forth from the mouth of God. In human terms you are what you eat and birds of a feather. Those who laugh today cry tomorrow. People teach their children hate and prejudice. Example a woman is walking with a child and says look at a heavy weight person and calls that person  a fat (swearing) person and the child picks that up and eventually evil is taught to that child. (Bullies in schools)  The unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom. Jesus is Holy and people are Unholy.

Many people are in different walks of life and the brokenness in people's lives are for different reasons where many are related or the same. Some people are victims to the ways of the world and its shortcomings. Some people are raised in broken homes and other people are raised in a loving homes. A good heart gives thanks and praise at all times. Do not covet what is not yours. There are people that have an abundance and are filthy rich but their hearts are truly far from God. They might even do charity work. Christ gave a good clue in the sermon on the mount.

You can find a gossip at every foot and if you are a Christian and find yourself doing this stop it. Your treasure will be where your heart is. In life you reap what you sow. Many people are going to die around the world today and perish. People have been dying in the Ukraine lately. Do you think all these people are going to go to heaven? It doesn't work that way. You must be saved. You must be born again : John 3:3

This is what people truly don't realized of the real Christ

Isaiah 53:3

“ He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not .”

It's true the heart is abundantly wicked and this world is in the control/influence of the devil. This world is under the heavy influence of the devil . There is a true devil called Satan. It is impossible for God to lie. He is the master of the multitudes. You can't serve two masters. And many people do not see at all but they do think so. God chose the lowly of this world for a reason. Jesus said God does not think as men. He is above men's thoughts. As it is written

1 Corinthians 1:28

No the grass is not greener on the other side. The lord Jesus is the way the truth and the life. No other man died and shed their blood but Jesus to keep you out of hell but many people are running there ignorantly and blindly.

Look at what the Messiah said:

We as Christians are taught to renew our minds and examine ourselves daily to see if we are in the faith. It's easy to stray even after we have come to Christ. You need to be firmly planted where you cannot be uprooted. Most people do not love God with all their heart might/mind and soul. 

In my after notes today every once in awhile I stumble across something that touches my heart. Either some old woman is attacked which is very sad or it could be something else. There was a blind woman who has a very sad story I came across. She was in a music competition being a talent contest and she overwhelmed the judges. When she sang you can tell she had a gift similar to any great celebrity star. (She sang like an angel) Where did she get that? And although God still loves her she glorifies God. The world that she wants is not of God. Maybe in due time God will show her and even restore her sight after   bringing her to understand and working his WILL in her. Jesus said when you have done it to the least of people you have done that on to him. Remember that!
