Sometimes poverty created devastation but somehow out of the filth came something tangible and good. Example the United States or even Canada when they had slavery. You know Martin Luther's speech that Elvis Presley sang entitled "I have a dream". His dream came true and it must have come from God.
There's only one man that lived a holy perfect life on Earth and his name is Jesus being the biblical born of God Savior of the world and Lord Jesus Christ - Emmanuel God with us. He was a Jewish Rabbi on earth and he had a 3 year ministry as well as he chose the apostles even apostle Paul. He gave great teachings. Lots of parables. They were meant for some to understand and others not. Since the religious elite from his day that were from the Sanhedrin Pharasiies say that they were without sin their sins remained. Their hearts were hardened with rejection and disbelief. There were specific lessons in why he gave blind people their sight back. One of the greatest lessons is cast the first stone if you are without sin. So many are with sin and they cast the first stone. God tells us he put life and death before us and to choose life. The whole world lies in the influence of the devil. You must be born again. John 3.3
So how do you listen to Christ? Is he really your Lord and Savior? Are you sure? If you are a non believer or you are someone in some other faith I could understand or even if you are an atheist. But if you claim to be a Christian and your life does not reflect what a true Christian is then you are deceived greatly. It is written that the devil blinds the minds of those people that they won't see the glory of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ . It is also written what is your life but a vapor here today and gone tomorrow. Jesus said what will it profit you to gain the whole world and to forfeit your own soul. But even deceived counterfeit Christians that do not see do not think that God will send them to hell. Oh yes he will. You see they are like the dog who has returned to his own vomit. Their always in their sins and their not washed in the blood.
I've many times heard and seen videos of peoples testimonies. I hear of people that have such struggles and specifically what comes to mind is some women that just want to go to heaven because they're tired of this life and their a little depressed. But they don't show the fruits of really wanting eternal life. Christ converted some of the most wicked people and they completely changed including the prostitute. Many people would rather spend time listening to worldly music or going to a worldly concert or some nightclub or sporting event rather than have a true relationship with the biblical Lord Jesus Christ . They don't really listen to him and acknowledge him. He is not the Lord of their life. But they want eternal life. But their fruits show otherwise. And a lot of us that have changed and come to Christ know what it's like. They are still in the world and they can't let it go. Their still in their sins and they don't receive forgiveness.
Jesus said whom the son has set free is free indeed. He can set you free from all those things that enslave you. You see those things that men highly esteem are an abomination to God.
You think of World War 1, 2 and three still to come. You think of Hiroshima and other places that they did use nuclear weapons.
Men love darkness and so many are perishing while reaping the world.
The Bible says men fight because they have not. They fight over territory being land. What are they building in the end? You see what Jesus meant by white washed tombs. The wages of sin is death. They may lose their soul.

Did you hear about that new telescope in space that can see amazing things. It has different mirrors that all lined into a single vision. It is called the James Webb Space Telescope and it is a space telescope designed primarily to conduct infrared astronomy. Could you imagine if you had mirrors that would allow you to truly see the glory of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Wake up and see. Open your eyes and ears.

In my after notes did they forgive and love their neighbors? The wages of sin is death and by trying forcefully to take without forgiveness or love what will come down the road will not be peaceful eventually you will reap what you sow. When you leave this life there is only two destinations heaven & hell. So who's voice are they listening to Satan or God. Whom is their father? If you live in a democracy and you truly have experienced freedom even to worship in peace that is because soldiers died. Some veterans are still living yet others have passed on so you can be free. Remember that. Are you giving God glory each day or are you giving men glory each day. Do you know truly whom Jesus Christ is? Are you saved and on the way to heaven or hell? Do you even have the ears to LISTEN.
