To contend for the faith once delivered on to the Saints. Wicked men had crept in and abused grace in such a way that it needed to be addressed and it was a grave concern. There was Lascivious. So what is this.
Lascivious behavior is sexual behavior or conduct that is considered crude and offensive, or contrary to local moral or other standards of appropriate behavior. In this sense "lascivious" is similar in meaning to "lewd", "indecent", "lecherous", "unchaste", "licentious" or "libidinous".
So recently there was news at the award show televised where a well-known actor had struck by slapping the comedian on stage. While people came up with good analysis even the five still to God this is serious sin. And it is a behavior that is immoral. And they say the offender being the one who walked on stage resigned from this organization. He also made a statement of the type of man he wants to be. But you see from that description of Lascivious above it is very serious and not a laughing matter to God. Although people laugh at crude jokes of a comedian there have been people that had dreams or even near death experiences of hell and what they describe is horrible. This is why God's word gives many warnings. God's word tells us never avenge yourself because it is God's right. And we know if it was a police officer who was threatened that is different. And we all need to think before taking action as such and also to forgive. Pray and ask God for forgiveness. 8:44 p.m. same day.
Imagine Jesus Christ he was called all sorts of names and beaten and they did all kinds of evil to him and he never opened up his mouth except for the religious leaders. God's word tells us that many people are going to wake up to everlasting contempt. Be the better man or woman and forgive. Don't pay back what you think is wrong or evil with evil. God's word says vengeance is mine. Please understand you can't serve two masters. Some celebrities are believers but they follow the Prosperity Gospel. And comedians have a mouth full of hell. Man will not live on bread and water alone by Every Idle Word that precedes forth from the mouth of God. Some preachers had friends that have come to them but later went back to the world and back to sin. He said his sheep hear his voice and they listen to him. It doesn't say in vain to examine ourselves to see if we are in the faith daily. Some of these big stars profess Jesus but in their actions show likewise.
