You are truly born again John 3:3 to iron out the rough edges.
Everything is made new. You see life by a different perspective. This is the work of God. But a good majority of the people around you are still in the old life and so you may at first struggle with such but you eventually realize you can't go back. The things you use to highly esteem you're finding that they no longer are suitable or are useful in their old ways. (We don't condemn so perhaps not everything) You can actually grieve the spirit if you try to hold on to things that are an abomination to the true God now that you are truly born again and the comforter is wonderful. But do you really love him? There is a reason that you can't be-friend the world. The world loves its own and is hostile to the true God. You now walk in newness. And there are fruits of your conversion.
1 Peter 1:23
“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.”
Romans 6:4
“Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life .”
We can come boldly to the throne of grace but we should not grieve the spirit nor abused the spirit of Grace.
We are not saved by any works as it's a free gift. But at the same time when Christ tells people they are workers of iniquity are they true Christians? Maybe yes and no. They were trusting in their works but they were also lawless and abusive. There are fruits of your conversion. Nobody's Perfect. Now I did hear a sermon by back to the Bible Canada today and I like what he touched upon and I am in agreement with it but I just caution of what I said.
I'm not particularly talking about his Easter message but what I'm talking about his message about "it is finished". This is very serious on Judgement Day as I don't know you. That is very serious as I said. And there is great strong warnings written about false Grace in the end days. Instead of me getting into a big dilemma I do know that people have itchy ears.
The Bible warns that even the elect would be deceived
The notes are too extensive but a while back and I did it more than once I wrote about a preacher who was so convicted by what he knew that he left the the Baptist Church. I realize now that he had good reason.
As of April 11, 2022 I am updating this. Now I watched and it's entirely the video of the profound teaching on abusing Grace. Obviously the preacher knows what he's talking about. He is profound and backs up everything with scripture. Yes you can fall from grace once you are saved. You can get to a point when there is no more sin offering. It's true. And he talked about what is not preached today anymore. And it's evident when people are told they are not known to Christ they seem to be real Christians and counterfeit Christians combined. Despite that they did wonderful works and cast out demons he doesn't know them because they're lawless. That means in their hearts they are evil and probably were part of the world and became part of the false way. Can you lose your salvation yes if you are not in Christ as he said. So we have to be cautioned. We can't take any chances. The question is do you really love the Lord and is he your master. Do you love him with all your heart mind and soul? Now I will give my two cents further. I know without a doubt or shadow of a doubt that they have turned the house of God into a den of thieves. So these biblical churches need to deal with that because with some of them they lost their first love. Whoever it might be. But apart from that we can claim Grace and be living like a devil. God knows our hearts and he knows if we are serious. We should not put God to the test.
Are you in Christ or not
Salvation is by faith alone and not by works. Your Works do matter to God but you believe in faith. Let's prove it. The thief on the cross was at the end of his life but he could not be deceived with a counterfeit Christ because the real one was nailed to the cross along with him and the other thief. Maybe they mocked at first both of them. But the one who repented nailed and bleeding on the cross said remember him when Christ comes into his kingdom. Then he was granted everlasting life. But you see he believed in faith in his heart as there was no Works involved. He repented too. God still knew his heart. Let us not abused Grace and love each other and obey the master. 8:44 p.m. April 11th 2022
I just want to further add. The fella preacher teaching about abusing Grace said that salvation includes works. You got to look at the way he looks at it. It seems controversial. That doesn't mean a specs of it might not be true in the way that he framed it. Here's the aftermath. After Christ died on the cross and he ascended up to sit at the right hand of the father later Apostle Paul was chosen. Apostle Paul was dealing what's the New Testament and he was dealing with the Pharisees who had become Wicked and they shut up the kingdom of Heaven onto men so the process of salvation was changed. It is virtually impossible to keep the law and John 3:16 affirms that it's a gift. But Christ also said that you must be born again. There is discrepancy of being born again. Are all true Christians born again? I would hope so. But regardless we should not take chances and we should heed the call the preacher talked about.
