Exodus 20:5 “Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;”
King James Version (KJV)
Oprah once said on her TV show years back in an episode where they were discussing is there many ways to God. Oprah made the point what if somebody didn't hear about God ie: "Jesus" in some part of the world but they feel him sort of per say in their heart then the way they find God is a different way but they still might find God. It's a far stretch from the truth really but if you watch the whole episode then there might be a slight point that she has. She also said when she heard a sermon in the Baptist Church and where she grew up the preacher touched upon God is a jealous God then something in her spirit told her that this is not right. But in all truth some people might stumble from religion to religion and even from being an atheist to different religions and eventually find true Jesus who is not pagan but is Holy and risen. The one that was a Jewish rabbi. Sometimes known as the spirit of Revelation. On the other hand when God said he is a jealous God in the book of Exodus to his people it's because of other nations we're serving many false gods that do not exist other than the devil who is the god of this world. The devil is sometimes known as the prince of the air. You see God wants to love people and he's not jealous in a way like human jealousy but he wants to be worshipped and loved just as he loves holy unconditionally. He also punishes because he says he visits the iniquity up to the third and fourth generation of those who hate him but shows mercy to thousands whom love him. We are commanded in scripture to love God with all our heart mind and soul. John 3:16 God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
A woman in the audience said that the gospel has to be preached throughout the whole world and then the end will come. You see in the Old Testament salvation was by keeping the law. We are not under law today were under the New Testament. Salvation is by grace through faith not by works that no man can boast. You have to believe in the death, burial and resurrection of the true Messiah.
You see in the book of James (4:4) which they say is a half brother of Jesus Christ it is written that it is enmity to befriend the world. Yes you are to love your neighbour as yourself but you as a true Christian are not to follow the world. Because Jesus said and preached that the real way is a straight gate and it's a very narrow way. The world tries to enter Heaven (eternal life) by many false ways and by the broad way that leads to destruction according to Christ himself. He gave many great teachings and he warned people about the day of judgment when many people will hear that they are not known to God and they will be not accepted. You have to put your faith and trust in him.
In my extended summary notes remember when Christ told the Rich young ruler to sell everything and give the money to the poor and then he will have treasures in heaven. He said then to pick up his cross and follow him. He said for rich person entering into his kingdom is like a camel going through the eye of a needle. You see James 4:4 remains true at all times. You can't serve two masters. Look at the people just in history in the entertainment industry that claimed to be Christians. Elvis Presley, perhaps Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and others. Sure they were or "are" rich but did they serve God. You see he (rich ruler) was instructed to pick up his cross and follow after him Christ just as the apostles and disciples did. There is a way that seems right to a man but in the end it is the way of death. Even in the new Testament under grace through faith we still have an adversary. God through the Holy prophets give us his word. He said he is the way to life. John 10:10 and humans go the other way or try to serve two masters and make sense of it. I never knew you on judgement day.
Is the way really narrow and straight to the Kingdom of God? Absolutely. We can have an obscured free look at it. In the end even though we are under grace through faith regardless it is a narrow way. The Messiah being the Lord including his prophets told us so. You can't have it both ways. Sure even true Christian stray. But a true Christian would probably in whatever nation they live in if it be free and democracy would still be citizens. They still have to make decisions. They can't live a life like a Pharisee. Even amongst the rich there probably are next to none who in the eyes of the true God are righteous. Sure we need his/Christ's righteousness imputed on to us. We can't even imagine God's holiness. So how does God define it to us repeatedly? John 10:10
You know when I research people like Glen Campbell I see that he was a Country talented pop artist whom got into some pretty sinful ways. Then he met a born again wife and had 34 years of what appears to be somewhat a successful marriage as that is GOOD. And he became a Christian and said he enjoyed that but was he really in Christ and what would have been the fruits shown if he truly was in Christ? I cannot judge his heart but I tell you it’s truly a narrow way. When the disciples and Apostles realize the way is indeed narrow they asked Christ how it can be possible for any man to be saved then. What did he tell them? It’s impossible for man but with God all things are possible. He was not on the cross yet and he was called the son of man on earth. “Master” Rabbi”! Then there was Johnny cash too and he is rather an interesting character amongst the rich and famous! Hope he was saved. Long marriage and seemed to have a good heart! Let GOD judge.
Luke 18:27 KJV And he said, the things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
In my after notes first of all you need great faith. People like Job and probably Noah and Abraham had great faith. Then if you're rich you need to really see the light. And once you understand that if you truly want to follow Christ you probably have to give up your worldly life that profits you nothing. In your eyes you think you're profited. Remember Christ was a poor carpenter but rich in faith and holiness.

The gospel. Amen and this I believe is Anointed.
"Country star behind 'Rhinestone Cowboy,' who died Tuesday at 81, was raised Baptist but spent last decades as part of Christian-Jewish sect. JTA — Glen Campbell, the country music star who died at 81 on Tuesday from Alzheimer's, grew up in rural Arkansas". Aug 10, 2017
I don't know how he lived his final years. I do know he was somewhat of a believe. So perhaps his wife was a Jewish believer. Perhaps he's very fortunate that he met her. This doesn't happen to everybody. But it appears like an indication that he was born again. He's gone. I would certainly hope he was saved.
Glen Campbell Talks About His Christian Faith - YouTube
Glen Campbell in this interview appears to promote his gospel recordings. He talks about music being shallow and overproduced. It's true. And then he talks about overcoming with Jesus Christ as your lord and savior. Now that is a refreshing message. And many people are gifted so we cant condemn. Walk in the spirit and don't gratify the works of the flesh. 11:44 noon April 20, 2022

Religion. Campbell was raised in the Baptist Church of Christ. In the 1980s he joined a Baptist church in Phoenix along with his wife Kim. In a 2008 interview, Campbell said that they had been adherents of Messianic Judaism for two decades.
Born: Glen Travis Campbell; April 22, 1936; Billstown, Arkansas, U.S
Resting place: Campbell family cemetery, Billstown, Arkansas
Occupation: Guitarist; singer; songwriter; actor; television host
Campbell was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2011, at the age of 75, according to Rolling Stone. Later that year, he announced he was retiring because of his illness, and began a farewell tour that included 151 shows, Rolling Stone said.Aug 8, 2017
In 2015, Glen moved into long-term care, eventually settling at Abe’s Garden, a memory care facility in Nashville.
“Glen was cheerful and completely at peace there. I became friends with a lot of the other women whose husbands were there and we tried to encourage and love each other. It was one big family. Every day on my way to ballet class I’d stop and have dinner with Glen and then go dance and work off my depression and then stop in again to give him a kiss goodnight. I make a big point of saying that our family joined a memory care community. It was my community too. It was a comforting place to be.”
So two years before he died he was at that home. Not great but not bad. I think just the friends they made there seemed important. But I remind you many people do not have this fate. Some people live with Alzheimer's in a very bad condition. Some people get other sicknesses prior to departing this life. 7:13 p.m. today
