36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
You need to be firm in faith. Contending for the faith once delivered onto the Saints. As they say/imply the Christian Life can be misconstrued even amongst the best of them. I believe it's a way that is obsolete. I'm not saying people don't do it. Because the world is huge and I'm sure people do, do it. But the life the apostles and disciples had in the first century strayed so much off that it is incredible. And yes I heard preaching saying well this is common because things don't stay relevant to what they were they move forward. It was probably a couple of hundred years after Apostle Paul died after Christ had given his life on the cross that things changed. We can't say they changed all around the world because we weren't there but we do have writings of different people. But particularly in Judea or all those provinces that apostle Paul preached in you know even Macedonia, all the places he went through they were also most likely ignorant at that time to life in Christ.
The first missionary journey he went through Cyprus, Lycia, and Galatia. His second missionary journey took place through Galatia, Macedonia, and Achaia. Paul's third occurred in Galatia, Asia, Macedonia, Achaia, and ending up in Jerusalem. Oct 22, 2020
Incredible isn't it that Apostle Paul had back bone, what, is missing today. 12:44 a.m. August 26th 2022
You see in my afterthoughts it's very serious. And one really needs to have understanding why God created a physical environment. Things were perfect in the garden. But there was a great fall and if it's not addressed it couldn't go on the way it was. God has a will and he provided a savior to the world. But you see Apostle Paul for example he's not some rich guy trying to make a lot of money that he can go pay everybody back. The same thing with the other apostles. And in modern day we're not discouraging being a good person. But the works on the day of judgment will be tried in fire anyways. All those people that did all those great works will be reduced to zero. They didn't matter. What mattered was did they obey him, did they belong to him, did he know them, did they bear their cross and stand for the truth and those things that be of God and not of men. Did they put their faith and trust in him. Where they found worthy. The thief did not come down on that cross. But he was offered eternal life. He didn't have to get off the cross and go do a whole bunch of works. Apostle Paul was firmly planted. He was serious about what he was doing despite that he used to be somebody persecuting Christians. While showing the love of Christ he was also committed to the task and finishing the course. He finished the good fight and then he was offered. Then again look at the one who was stoned stephens he didn't have to go do a bunch of works but he was in Christ. The Sanhedrin Jewish Court prosecuted him. Please no anti-Semitism towards Jewish people. You see they have their beliefs which of course they're blind as a bat and eventually we know what's going to happen which is grave. But one day they will come to understand. But us as true Christians need to be firmly planted because there is no other way.
Take up his cross and follow me
