Now I know people have done sermons on this and bible studies and such. But look what is written..11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices . 2 Corinthians 2:11
Now if we go a little bit deeper with about three verses look what is written
9 For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things.
10 To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;
11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices .
Forgive seven times 77 times and be familiar with the devices of Satan. Do it in the person of Christ. I suggest you refrain from trampling the blood of Christ, insulting the spirit of grace and live in the spirit instead of the flesh which is not always easy. Put on the new man and put away the old man.
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
Satan is a fallen cherubim Angel that was kicked out of heaven and a war ensued in heaven and there was a fight. Satan and his angels lost that battle. Emmanuel, Jesus said he saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.

He is above us as human beings and he knows our characteristics. He has a kingdom.

This is why we must be serious. He is your enemy if you are a true Christian. And your decisions must be based on God's word and your feet must be planted firmly. You know I talked before about violating the conscience. I wasn't specifically referring to the sins of the flesh because you can overcome that. The power of the mind. I was specifically speaking about when you know in your heart and it's been affirmed by he that is in you, in other words you are without doubt but you violate your conscience that gives the devil a foot hold. But do see, sometimes we might do it because we rationalize that we have to pay respects to someone. God is no respecter of persons. We can't be in the enemy's camp and then the camp of Christ. This is what Henry Matthew commentary wrote about. And I do see that some brothers specifically brothers are firm and solid in the faith. Now look what is written in two Corinthians 2:2 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: remember he tried to offer the kingdoms of the world to our Lord and savior the great king. Look what is written 19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
He knows you're his enemy as a true Christian and as I said it is serious. You can't serve two masters and you have to realize that. Some Christians will be in a better situation where they have a good job and a good education being support that they have the tools and the means to take care of themselves. Others will not be in that situation. This is why when you're young you're not to squander away the time and use it wisely. You see you don't know the seriousness of life. What is your life but a vapor here today and gone tomorrow.

In my afterthoughts you can't serve two masters. You see the devil has nothing on Christ. In essence he already defeated him. The kingdom of God is not on Earth but his body of believers are. But he sent them the comforter of course. It doesn't mean you have to be a Pharisee. It doesn't mean you can't enjoy your life. But it does mean you can't be in both camps and deceive yourselves. Because you will love one master and despise the other. And it's true the more you have the greater you will be judged for. An example would be a super famous group that asserts influence on people to disobey God in any way. You being they can say and reason with your/their stupidity that God gave you/them that but God already made it clear that; that is not the way at all. But such people can't accept that because they rationalize foolishly and then such people are in essence in two camps serving two masters and befriending the world. God is omnipresent, he can be everywhere at once because he is the Almighty. He has angels that serve him of course as written in scripture. But some say the devil cant be everywhere at once but he has fallen angels and demons that do his Dirty Work. Certain things a human being can do can open a door in their lives that is dangerous to speak. It's what you don't know and you're ignorant about the evil one and his entourage will see to deceive you and belittle you. Research what is abominable to God and don't do those things. Make sure you pray and give thanks and supplication often. Don't ramble on when you pray.
