Endurance in faith with power of the word sword treading the adversary .
A shadow of things to come. Colossians 2:17 Test the spirits to see if they are from God. 1 John 4:1-5 We will be judging angels. 1 Corinthians 6:3-5 God so loved the world. John 3:16 Pick up your cross and follow me. You can't serve two masters. Matthew 6:24 A love of the world will garnish you not the respect of the father nor his love. 1 John 2:15-17 Iron sharpens iron. Proverbs 27:17
Christ did what he had to do and of course the apostles especially Peter were troubled. You see Judas tried to serve two masters. He went to the enemy and tried to negotiate paid money. John 2:16 which Christ was very troubled about and it set a warning course further emphasizing warnings for all of humanity. Then he told the parable of the field. Matthew 13:44 The man wants to sell everything to purchase that field. But you can't buy it like Simon the Sorcerer tries to with money. Acts 8:9 to 25 You can't serve God and Mammon. Matthew 6:24
It's a straight narrow gate into the city. The devil deceives the entire world. People ask why does God allow so much evil in the world. He said See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil. Book of Deuteronomy . Be wise choose life. He also said that Nations that forget him are turned into hell. He punished his own people twice by exiled them to Egypt. Was it 400 years or four generations and then some 77 years to Babylon. And look what happened in Babylon a great number of them turned to the god baal.
When Satan was kicked out of heaven like lightning along with his angels God already predestined his own will. You see King Solomon understood the whole duty of man is not be a hoarder but to obey God commandments and to know God. So God gave him great wisdom. We know that Abraham is the father of all Nations. We know that God gave us many prophets each within their own time period such as Isaiah's, Elijah and Jeremiah and others. We know that he chose Israel as the nation he was working his will and he still is working his will through them. We know Jerusalem is the city of the great king. And we also know that the Messiah was a Hellfire preacher but people despise their own soul. Proverbs 15:32
Now we know we're not under the law and we grow in grace and we also know we can't please God without faith but will our righteousness exceed that of the Pharisees? So first let me say the Messiah prunes the branches being his children. His body of believers. But do/will his children finish the good fight? Again will his children's righteousness exceed that of the Pharisees . Of course we know it is written that God will finish that good work in his children. But we know there's many different parts in the body. We also know that some people are called to different tasks. But we must acknowledge that if the Angels could rebel against God as well as Satan and some of them have been reserved in chains of darkness how do we know that we will not do the same they did? We have to renew our minds daily, pray for each other and be strongly committed to finish the course and be firmly planted in faith wearing the whole armor of God, being a man or woman of God studied with a word hidden in our hearts.
Now I'm going to mention prayer. The prayer from the Bible that Jesus taught I think yes we should do them. We should also confess our sins one to another and pray for each other. As written iron sharpens iron. But it's very important that we have to learn what it means to live a holy life and do so because John 10:10. He is the truth to way and the life and God is Holy and so should we be holy as written. August 28th 2022 3:33 p.m: You see even Charles Spurgeon preached that if we don't live holy we won't see God Hebrews 12:14
We have to put our hands on the plow in faith and go forward without looking back. We have to let go of things that hinder us including the people that hinder us. And we can't be in two camps so we have to work out our salvation with fear and trembling.
True Christians will be persecuted and if they would not listen to our Master as he said neither would they listen to us. But at the same time I want to remind brethren that the word of God does not return void. But at the same time again I want to remind ourselves in faith with encouragement to be humble loving and patient in Tribulation.
As it is written
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Luke 10:19 KJV
We must do whatever we can do to preach God's word and pray that God sends labors into the field. We must pray for those who persecutors us. We must be serious and committed because we wrestle not against flesh and blood. 3:44 p.m. August 28th 2028
