Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty

An idol such as the Oscars is an image statue and we can say they are not really worshiping that which is just an award that represents their acting abilities and achievements. In a sense it's true. They're not really getting on their hands and knees and worshiping that. It's an award recognized in front of other people and other members of the academy, I guess just like you would get an award in some other field. Idols become idols when we take our mind off God and we worship in obsession the vanities of the world. For example sports can become an idol and for men many men automobiles become an idol when they are infatuated with such as decorating in building them up. I could understand the love of design and of achieving something but the things men highly esteem are nothing more than an abomination unto the true God and he doesn't think as we do. You know I heard in a telecast preaching of one street preacher who said there are two angels on the Ark of the Covenant but they are not being worshiped and it's true. I believe Satan was decorated highly. Look what it says in Ezekiel 28:12-19 KJV

12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord God ; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty .

13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

People as they are in these days have to attribute themselves to face value. What I mean is there are people out there that do dress nice and many people are busy painting their face as in women and wearing clothes that are sexually revealing. They also wear jewelry. They want to feel admired and beautiful. I'm sure even men do this to some capacity. They go get operations to get bigger breasts, face lifts and such. ( Not condemning everything ) People are bodybuilders and build up their bodies. I never condemn exercise because I think it is fantastic and it is required to some degree. People do all these things then on top of this they drink alcohol, take all sorts of explicit drugs and poison their bodies even they smoke cigarettes and poison their bodies as well as other people around including children with second hand smoke. But you see as Christ himself said the inside of the platter is stained as hell and full of all dead men's bones and all manner of iniquity. We can put our time for example music wise into building a record collection and we can make a huge library but when you die you don't bring any of that with you. You must be born again as Christ told Nicodemus to Sanhedrin Pharisee as written in John 3:3

Before you can even do that you might be blind to that process by the god of this world and lost within your own self-deceived ideals. People also spend millions of dollars on artistic endeavors. The Rich and Famous buy houses worth millions while the poor live in shambles . Remember Christ said when the apostles or disciples were trying to impress him with the glorious splendor of the Jewish temple there will be not one stone left upon another. What mattered most? What is written in John 2:19 Sure that temple probably took centuries to build in those days but what is your life a vapor here today and going tomorrow. You don't bring material objects with you but you bring your soul and if it is stained with sin you will perish unless you're covered under the blood of Christ. Unless most likely you are a new creature in Christ. The lord Jesus Christ said that you must deny yourself and pick up your cross and follow him. Remember the rich young ruler was unable or unwilling to sell his possessions then he would have had treasures in heaven. They are weighing him down into the cares of this life but they do not add one cubit to his stature and they do not refine his heart/soul. God can give you a new heart as written in scripture. But actually in the book of Exodus he said make nothing that is in sea or land. He also said do not bow down to them nor serve them because he is a jealous God. I'm sure he knows the multitude of people won't worship them or serve them but when your focus is on vanity you can become lost in it and miss the whole conclusion of the matter as King Solomon understood. All is vanity said the preacher . We are also told that a rich man entering God's Kingdom is like a camel going through the eye of a needle. What does that mean? It is virtually impossible to enter his kingdom in that condition. There is a way that appears right onto a man but in the end it is the way of death. You see the way is actually extremely straight and narrow but people hate the truth. 7:44 a.m. December 19 2022

In my afterthoughts and after notes...

“ As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one :” that is in the Book of Romans.

This was said even after knowing about the great Apostles or prophets even disciples havIng been redeemed and made right in the sight of God. He even said there's no one greater than John the Baptist but the least in Heaven or in his kingdom is greater than he. Remember the apostles were scared as Judith sold them out and Peter denied him but there were ones that stood their ground. He said you being evil give good things to your children. He didn't say you being good give good things to your children. The heart is abundantly wicked and who could know it. Even when we have become born again sometimes it seems to be a hard road to do his will instead of our own. The world is always trying to suck you back in to its wicked ways but Christ did not at any time follow it.

They will make merchandise out of you. The soul that sins shall surely die
