I came across this story and while again I should not be looking at the news (James 4:4) I couldn't help overlook it and it was put on my heart to address it. I seen the video and it's devastating. They thought that this fella Boden Umpherville had stolen this vehicle that somehow seems to have been reported stolen but the owner was in the vehicle with the victim who they thought was a perpetrator and the owner did not report the vehicle stolen. It was reported that later they found a handgun at the scene. (Details pending) The fella ended up in the hospital and ended up brain dead and he died of his injuries sustained by taser, beatings, maybe resistance. I've seen the reports in the stories around and that they were looking for qualified police officers in that state. The officers it was reported are still on duty pending an investigation into this incident. The family appears devastated and they say this fellow used to be a youth motivator and a kind hearted person. It seems somehow very odd and things escalated in the wrong direction. Again this has been put on my heart and I'd ask you to pray about it. I guess the police have a very dangerous job because people do hurt them and even kill them. They're underfunded/understaffed even in Canada and this is not proper. Where is Jesus in all of this? Could you imagine if the fellow did not actually steal that car and this happened to him. Some Christians will think who cares well then you're not a good Christian and you only care about yourself. Christ said love your enemies and love other people as well even if they are not true believers. You don't have to hang around them. Think of the people dying around the world even in the Ukraine as their buildings get bombed while you are enjoying your life of SIN and think who cares. Where is compassion? Again people should not be insulting and doing evil to the police but some things need to change and preaching the gospel is important . Who knows there are so many car thieves/thefts reported these days and I could imagine being understaffed. In the United States the gun violence is out of control. I heard about a woman pulling into the wrong driveway and she got shot and killed by the owner. People walk around in the United States like it's the wild west which is unthinkable in Canada with guns. Jesus said those who live by the sword will die by the sword. Be careful of living by the GUN. Hell still has vacancy! On one hand some Christians have Christ as their lord and savior and on the other hand their weapon is their best friend. How can you serve two masters? None of the Apostles including the one that was stoned to death Stephen used a weapon. Our weapons are not carnal. We wrestle not against flesh and blood and you have prayer and the Bible should be your best friend including the TRUE CHRIST . There's only one man in the universe that laid down his life for others and he was a Jewish Hebrew or rabbi named Jesus of Nazareth. or we can call him Joshua or Yeshua or Emmanuel (GOD WITH US). There's only one and he is only a prayer away as he is risen. 8:08 a.m. April 27th 2022
