He rested on the seventh day and henceforth we have the Sabbath. But if we go back to the garden of Eden we know that Eve was deceived and she gave Adam her husband fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and Evil and she disobeyed her own God who actually at that time walked in the garden with her and Adam and they were naked and hid themselves. From Adams sin entered into the world because he was the first man. So we learn God's decree as he caused women to have labor pains and the men would have to work from the sweat of their brow from then on. But we also learn that the serpent was to guard the throne of God and he was a cherubim angel made beautiful beyond our understanding of beauty decorated with all precious stones. But he wanted to be like God and he wanted to raise his throne/temple above the heavens and perhaps tried to kick God out. Pride was found in him. Unless you truly are repented, forgiven and following the truth you stand a good chance of losing your soul. Here is the key as you are either a true believer or you are a counterfeit believer who has a reprobate mind and calls people stupid even names that tell you the truth as you resist the truth but one day you might lose your soul.
