Okay so you look up at the scripture in the book of Daniel and it's concerning the great King Nebuchadnezzar which I believe was a pagan King but he came to have great understanding due to Daniel  the prophet. Look at all the people he called in to try to decipher a dream like all the people that are considered an abomination to the true God of Israel at first. You know Chanellers and those who read horoscopes and all the rest that God says do not do these things. So I believe it may have been the queen who at some point maybe 2nd time suggested Daniel to interpret the dream then somehow Daniel got involved and he explained the dream and there's word that the king lost his mind for a while. So and in that passage it lets you know the things he was the king was worshiping being idols and praising gods of the sort wood, gold, brass, etc are wicked and he realized who truly rules the true kingdom of men is GOD and I believe King Nebuchadnezzar had great admiration for the great God. I just wanted to explain that. Now just because we're not under the law doesn't mean that you as a true believer can go out and worship idols and God is not going to cut you off because there's a reason that God set the law side. But the wages of sin is death and God is a jealous God and a God of wrath not just a God of mercy.

So unfortunately what's occurred in Israel is horrible and they're given dominion like other nations and responsibilities but it appears what's occurred is partly explainable as a few things that were touched upon in that last blog. There are levels of consequences for sin and rebellion.  Example: They were exiled twice remember that. But it's not them that attack themselves of course.
