[23] But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men . [24] Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
The offensive stumbling block

I try to cover the issues at hand. Justin Peters the minister had a podcast on false doctrine regarding certain people that he speaks about and how they deny fundamental principles of the Bible. (Explicitly deny the Gospel)) We are born with a sin nature and some deny this and he shows it in kids/little children in his podcast. Why would you think we would need to be born again. John 3:3 Why would God have to take that stony heart and replace it with a heart of flesh? Even John 2:16 is explicitly at hand unfortunately. Such a bleak situation but Justin Peters does his best to rescue and show what the Bible says that charismatics or prosperity preachers appear to take out of context.
There are many different Ministries out there and some of them quite often preach God's grace and I am well aware that a newbie to the faith you would give them milk not solid food. I've heard some say that even some people 20-30 years as Christians they're still on milk which I suggest perhaps put your faith ahead of everything else. Specifically street preachers in Canada might not always totally agree with the message that the street preachers might sometimes have for example in the United States or some other Nation. I'm not talking about just church building preachers here and I'm talking about important issues and it's not Satan attacking like silliness sometimes they take out of context and get offended. There are many members in the body not all having the same function. I think it's a learning process like everything else in life. I agree that he who wins souls is wise.
I covered the issue extensively relating to
" I never knew you " which Christ will tell people on the day of judgment thinking or pleading for their soul that they had done wonderful works even casting out demons but he doesn't know them let alone recognize them is very serious. You know for example it's like a university professor there's an exam coming up which tests the class because he doesn't want a huge number of failures so he does his census you know quick testing and finds out so many of them don't know what's the lesson that they're going to be tested on. So for example he postpones the exam and made it an extra week away to give them more ample time to study but then on that day a number of people fail and complain and he states he gave them an extra week/time and they are without excuse. You see Christ gave people clues and cautions way before the time. You must be in right standing with God. You must be in right standing with Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I would recommend really being born again and obeying the Vine. John 3:3
One needs to understand the book of Romans. I've even got a couple of links below that are interesting and informative.
A little bit of descriptive information about this book.
"The book of Romans was written by the apostle Paul in approximately 57-58 C.E. as a letter, or epistle, to the church in Rome. The is letter instructional in nature--intended to provide direction, encouragement, and guidance to that community of believers."
Who was Paul addressing in his epistle in the Book of Romans and who were the Christian believers in that time period Paul was addressing. Where did they meet and how were they associated with the Messiah being the Christ. There is an excellent article that explains even where they met.
Earliest Days of the Roman Christian Church is the article title. This gives you a good idea of the first century and where believers met. This article explains the government, the empire, the culture and as the different type of believer being Jew or gentile.
I found Henry Matthew has a profound commentary and it's important because if you look at Israel today you would almost think that there are no Jewish believers but there are. It is my understanding that God's kept a remnant consistently preserved. For example here's part of a statement " There was a chosen remnant of believing Jews, who had righteousness and life by faith in Jesus Christ. These were kept according to the election of grace ."
It tells about Israel's blindness and sleepiness and the dangers this would pose. Here is part of another statement
" The Jewish nation were as in a deep sleep, without knowledge of their danger, or concern about it; having no sense of their need of the Saviour, or of their being upon the borders of eternal ruin ."
So just as Isaiah in Isaiah 53 had prophesied it happened. You see it's complicated today and you might look at Israel and think about Jerusalem and the surrounding places in that Nation and you just see it sort of camouflaged. You know just like when a born again redeemed true believer was once deceived and blinded by the god of this world so are they. I wonder if they're still under the law doing animal sacrifices or going to do them when the temple is rebuilt. Because of their blindness they're wasting their time and they are really in darkness like many people that are deceived.
Cross reference scriptures addresses very important issues. " Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace ." It stresses in the writing it's an election and by grace and occasionally emphasizes faith never by works which is extremely important.
" God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew ." Even though they strayed God's will shall be done and his people will be saved eventually. I don't know particularly if it's every single soul/some of them but the Bible makes it clear that Israel will eventually be saved.
As it is written in the commentary:
" The Jews continued branches of this tree till, as a nation, they rejected the Messiah; after that, their relation to Abraham and to God was, as it were, cut off ."
And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them
So through their fall salvation has come onto the gentiles. " Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway ." You see you wonder in the present day around the world all those rallies of people yelling out Nazi hateful anti-semitic toxic words in protest things that are very evil implications against the Jews.
Jeremiah 17:9 John 8:7 Matthew 5:9 Romans 623 I
Remember the blog crucify him crucify him . So were they doing this when 9/11 happened to America? Probably not in that capacity why with Israel and the Jewish people? Why was Hitler obsessed with doing away with them and why is the world throughout time hate the Jews. We know the devil hates them and he hates all true believers because of course he has an evil empire Kingdom. Matthew 12:26 Pride and violence was found in him Satin and he was a murderer even a liar from the beginning and he has so many under his wings deceived. Something David prophesied and prayed reverberates to this very day unfortunately and I just wanted to bring this to your attention unfortunately the truth will set you free including those who are blinded.
