Preacher arrested in Orlando Florida for preaching the gospel. Yes this is the United States of America not Canada.
It's annointed in the spirit meaning God is aware and this brother in Christ which I may have never met particularly, I believe he's the same one that preached in Israel before the war there and he got arrested it appears. I will update this soon.
The video is 16 minutes and 25 seconds long. In that time period we will assess what happens.
1. So he starts preaching and he's not using a loudspeaker he's using his voice projected.
2. So far until 4:01 in the video podcast I viewed the interaction with the police officer and appeared someone was on a bike could be a police officer but the police officer seemed to be a little pleasant speaking with the preacher and the preacher explained he's not using a loud speaker and he explained about the Hebrew Israelites that preach within the park that are louder than him and the officer said he didn't see them that day but he is familiar with that he speaks as it appears the officer has seen them Hebrew Israelites before he said they come down to the park. It appears the street preacher may have had a permit but there was discussion about a permit. It also may have applied to how many feet one can be within the perimeter. Police officer explains at what point they would have to get involved when the law is violated. Then after the officer left the street preacher proceeded to explain the law of God as opposed to the law of the land that the officer has to uphold.
The street preacher said if you don't abide by the law of the land you get click click you get put in mans jail and he's preaching God has a jail too it's actually called hell and it's eternal. So now before we get into the conclusion of what happened the street preacher is explaining God's jail where the worm does not die that is much worse in man's jail. Yes it's true God cannot lie and people are ignoring to think you don't exist after one leaves for this world. Now he talks about breaking God's law and makes the point that hell is eternal. It is true and we should fear God. He's making the absolute true preaching outreach of the heart to people that they could have eternal life the greatest gift which is the gospel being the good news. Now he starts to get bold and preaching against sin like homosexuality and other sins and you have some women that you could hear saying hallelujah. Now we will assess the arrest.
At that point we were about 7 Minutes in the podcast. Now a little girl bows before the preacher and he says to her God loves you. Now at 8:12 in the podcast the police show up again.
Okay let's get to the arrest. At about 8:12 in the podcast the police show up and they're looking at a cell phone it appears to be a permit that are viewing and they're not preachers to be within a thousand feet of an activity written in the street preacher permit. For the police to show up again somebody must have complained.
Now the street preacher makes the case that the officers not understanding what is written and it's referring to amplification. But the officer is disputing and disagreement as he checks again the permit on the handheld device. The street preacher seems to stand for his first amendment rights.
There is dispute with the officer and the street preacher says get this on film and says you are impeding on my 1st amendment right. He again makes the case that it's referring to amplification and he's supposed to uphold the bill if rights that officer would have sworn too you know he should be allowed to be there. There's also the dispute of the distance when is allowed to be preached.
By 14:04 in the video podcast he's told he's under arrest.
While he is being handcuffed by the police and a woman's voice is heard saying this is what happens for preaching the gospel. He preacher says 14 minutes and perhaps 46 seconds into the podcast make sure you get that permanent event over there too.
Now they've arrested him and they're bringing him to the police van for transportation it appears to the police station and possibly to jail.
So we're at 15 minutes and 36 seconds within the video podcast and the street preachure is waiting and observing probably thinking in his mind unfortunately. He's probably wondering who complained. Somebody had to complain for this to have occurred. At this point we probably really dont know that information.
Okay so we hear the women saying in the name of Jesus and Hallelujah. Amen. So from this point on he's arrested and I ask please my brothers and sisters out there to pray for him and his ministry. Pray for whoever would be at that park and have complained. You know he's just telling people about Christ. My suspicion would be that it could be religious people that don't like street preachers. It could be religious so-called Christians that might have complained or could be the park officials you know the event officials that have received complaints from any number of these people mentioned. Either way it's a travesty. Why so? You see the violence and the evil in our world is overwhelming. He's preaching the good news on something called at Christmas time. I don't know who heard his preaching and if it will reach people so that they turn from the life of sin. I know that the word of God does not return void and it does what it is set/sent out to accomplish, what it is set out to do. But this is a big headache because a lot is involved now where he's going to have to go down to the police station, maybe be fingerprinted and have to answer questions and then locked in jail until he might have to make an appearance before a judge. He might be found guilty of a crime and be convicted when he is trying to preach righteousness and the good news.
It doesn't look good because the people see him arrested and they just might assume he's just a nuisance and meanwhile criminals run free. There's something called catch and release that is problematic that they discuss every once in awhile where criminals get away with their crimes. It might have been nice to use a microphone and an amplifier and just speak softly into it but even that I think if you have trouble makers that don't like to be told about God or Jesus you have people that cause trouble. You have complainers and they have nothing better to do then complain. Maybe some of these people have a fictitious idea of Jesus. Maybe they don't know the Jesus of the Bible but they know religion. Jesus you know another Jesus being preached that no angel in heaven ever preached. I'm just giving you my feedback as a believer. Now the law in Florida Orlando is probably going to be similar but not exactly the same as the law in Canada. There was dispute over the distance and I don't know if that played into this. At no time did I see the street preacher assault anyone not even the police. Just please pray for him and again we wrestle not against flesh and blood remember that. Well bless the street preacher and I hope this is resolved peacefully.
I should really keep my personal opinions to myself but I do feel some factors additionally contributed to maybe the police making that decision to arrest him. These things honestly will have to be discussed amongst their ministry but I hope this gets resolved without the street preacher getting a record he's just trying to make a difference.
