The glorious gospel is the good news but make sure you don't have the bad news and that it is the glorious gospel. Make sure it's not work based because it's a choice between Heaven or Hell between righteousness or none righteousness. Eve chose to disobey God and they were naked just as many are today they are blind naked and they don't hear properly but they heap up teachers that lie to them. You know that song "You're So Vain" you probably think this song is about you now that is a human term just like birds of a feather flock together but a lot of people are deceived as they are victims of deception and they are trying to enter in to Christ Kingdom by a bogus false deceptive way. Christ taught relationship, he taught a way of living that many deny and they give him lip service but they claim to know him but they don't realize there are others who truly know him. They're not perfect and they're being perfected by Christ himself. James 4:4 tells us we can't follow the world and it's also written true religion is to visit orphans and widows. Good and faithful servants is what we want to hear. I came not to be served but to serve . Now you're not saved by your good works you must be born again as written in John 3:3. If you're not truly born again then that is not a good sign. But I want to draw your attention to  first of all who do people say that I am as many think he was some black man from Africa as a certain set of people calling themselves Christians try to say and denounce the modern Jews. Others have  likened him onto a hippie with blue eyes from the '60s and sort of wiped out his heritage and he is from the bloodline of David. But look what he Christ asked Apostle Peter three times. Imagine three times and you would get annoyed. Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me ? If you love me keep my Commandments. Modern Christians may conclude were not under the law and will be trying to earn our salvation so let's become stale and not obey him. Take away his authority because he does prune the branches and if the vine is Holy so should the branches be. Have we become religious hypocrites? Love covers many sins but that doesn't neglect the fact that we carry a cross following him. We still must contend for the faith once delivered onto the Saints. So we need wisdom so we know to make the proper choices not too far left or too far right.

¹⁵  So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

¹⁶  He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

¹⁷  He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

How was Peter going to feed the sheep?

Although this has a three-part answer I took part out as I'm quoting and we know those that are false shepherds when the wolf comes will leave the sheep to be devoured. They don't love the sheep they deceive the sheep. The Biblical Hebrew Jesus Christ of Nazareth laid down his life as a ransom for many but he never abandoned the sheep but sometimes they were scared and they abandoned him temporarily. One abandoned him completely and that was Judas.

They are to tend, care for, and provide  spiritual food  for God’s people, from the youngest lambs to the full-grown sheep, in continual action to nourish and care for their souls, bringing them into the fullness of spiritual maturity." 

"Clearly, the job of the shepherds of God’s people is to provide them with the pure milk of the Word of God so they can move on to the meat and solid food of the spiritually mature ( Hebrews 5:12-14 ). Pastoral ministry should be primarily one of pastors feeding their people the Word of God."
