The Bible says the world is deceived. Revelation 12:9 KJV The devil deceives the entire world and he is the god of this world. "The prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:" There is a world we can't see because we wrestle not against flesh and blood and it's a demonic world and God has instructed the true God a number of things not to do including idolatry making images of anything holy even God himself or his son or bowing down to these idols and images which people do not listen and they do these things and they make all kinds of excuses even that they are venerating them. Highly admiring/a steaming them is idolatry. Highly esteeming an image is idolatry no matter which way you look at it.
When a person dies it's Heaven or Hell there's no in between. It's appointed of man to die once and then the judgment. There is a reason I have this advare here because human beings but especially deceived human beings have a hard time accepting the things of the true God and the things written in the Bible because God looks at the heart intent of a man not at the stature and not at the vanity..
Although it's interesting that they have a beauty pageant with no makeup they're getting crafty or is the devil getting more creative? Don't misunderstand what I'm saying here. I'm not knocking the people in this competition but that is not how God looks at the heart of the human being that even with man's fallen nature of judging a book by its cover.
Satan who used to be known as Lucifer was decorated highly and iniquity and pride was found in him. It's one thing to have faith but it's another thing to be prideful and that comes before a fall. God was well pleased with his son he didn't say I'm so proud of him. Jesus said the least will be first in his kingdom. Those who want to be first will be least and we are instructed your least must be first. Do humans listen and obey a holy God.

According to the prophet Isaiah Christ had no beauty that he should be desired not even any calmliness yet he was/is the lamb that takes away the sins of the world and he was sheer perfect. Yet his burden was light and his yoke was easy. He was despised and rejected. Do you understand what was just said. He wasn't your Brad Pitt or your Hollywood vanity. He was holy. No man ever walked the Earth like him Emmanuel - God With Us. God looks at the heart of a human being not the vanity and people become prideful and they do so much at face value. God knows men's hearts. He knows their thoughts just as Christ knew the thoughts of the Pharisees. He knows the intent of the heart. But humans have a hard time accepting this. In fact because of the way he truly was in his day there are people that think they would not have rejected him but people suspect that they would have done exactly like others and rejected him. The heart is abundantly desperately wicked.

The Bible says in John 3:3 that a man must be born again. Nicodemus the Pharisee had trouble understanding this. I won't get into all of that but your vanity is not what you're going to be judged by if you are truly judged but it's the intent of your heart and are you truly a believer or deceived? Were you truly saved? Human beings judge by the cover. But there have been human beings where their talents were greater than their vanity. God gives all good gifts but God judges by the heart not by the stature of a man. Idolatry is a grave sin. What is the condition of your heart?
After thoughts and notes: This is not about keeping the law we are not under the law as some might suggest. I realize and people should realize you can't please GOD without faith. If you break one iota of the law you break them all so religions that teacher you have to keep the law and do a bunch of things to go to heaven is false. The thief on the cross did not have to come off the cross and go do a bunch of works. Your work matter once saved they will be tried in the fire. All Christians true Christians have a duty to share the gospel and they should be interested in learning the Bible but being a doer of the word. He came to give us an abundance of life but make sure the abundance doesn't include influence/temptation to do things that are abominable.
