It is written the love of money is the root of all evils so money itself isn't evil but loving money and money becoming your idol is evil. You see Judith tried to sell out the son of the living God to the Sanhedrin and it is known while we would hope not but it's more likely that he lost his soul. You have people dirt poor living in ghettos, people living in nations like Haiti in filthy conditions in penitentiaries because they stole money, killed or they were evil wanting to gain something that is not theirs by corruption and no such person will even inherit the kingdom of God but un repented/saved they will inherit eternal damnation. So I read about this woman who won this huge lottery and she lost it all to her ex-husband because she tried to hide it. I didn't read the article intricately but I read enough to know that it appears to be unfair in a sense. It sounds unfair in two different ways because he/EX husband had a right to know and hiding it doesn't do any good. You have to love your neighbor as yourself. Give and it shall be given onto you. But on the other hand she had a right if she paid for that ticket to not disclose it but if there was a court case and she swore for example on the Bible in court to tell the truth and nothing but the truth and then she proceeded to lie so the judge probably punished her severely. I do not think on the husband's part it would be fair to keep the whole amount and on his part to be a devil and unfair either. It would show great faith and love to give her something if he has it. She probably could appeal it anyways but this was an example of the evils that are out there. They spoke about in the article a number of people that won these big jackpots and bought material possessions and lost everything. You think some people go to work working at some job that pays $15 dollars hour, $17 an hour and they work for 30, 40, 50, 60 years and raise a family on that and are hopefully good parents and are giving, loving and hardworking then you have people that steel, rob and covet. People that win these huge lotteries and waste it all on material possessions are simply WICKED.

I heard under the grapevine somebody in my own family tell somebody an older person what are you to do with money anyhow well they don't believe in God's word they believe in the broad way of destruction they don't get it they're deceived and they don't love the truth. Christ was a poor carpenter and the apostles were fishermen they weren't university educated yet they're going to rule in the kingdom of God for eternity because it's God who gives us the ability to have money and to have our necessities, education, etc. and he tells us how we're to live our lives according to his word but rebellious people don't obey him they give him lip service and many people don't know him because they don't take the time to read the Holy scriptures and to pray. What will it profit you to gain the world and forfeit your own soul so wake up before you lose your soul also not just that money.
