We have needs in life of material things such things cannot save your soul. A lot of people put all their aspirations, time and efforts in lies and in material possessions. For example some people will buy expensive loud blasting stereos amplified systems for their automobiles and blast out gangster rap swearing and offensive music that is Unholy not realizing that they can lose their soul not loving the God that they don't know that they deny. David Lynn's talking to a person and it's obvious as David realized it but I'm not going to mention it but this person had some good points but David summed it up perfectly poverty is on the inside. Are you lacking faith? Are you lacking holiness? Are you full of sin polluted by evil desires and following all the abominable ways yet refuse to acknowledge the truth which could set you free. The person David was talking made some important points about homeless people but David knows they're not all suffering the same things why they're on the streets. I mean people have lived in cars that have been divorced that had jobs and still do even presently because rents have become unaffordable. We need things and Christ said in the sermon on the mount don't worry about these things they will be added on to you once you become a true believer. Now David Lynn preacher David Lynn talked about people in Africa that are content in have less to nothing. Did you know John the Baptist was despised by the Pharisees the religious elite and he lived in the wilderness yet Christ said there's no greater prophet than he John the Baptist. The fisherman were poor in fact Christ was a poor carpenter what a carpenter's son you know they despised him and rejected him. 

The wages of sin is death and that should scare people because when they die the first death then comes the judgment. They have a saying don't die the second death. Then it's hell eternally and that's not what you should desire. God tells us the soul that sins shall surely die. It's about relationship knowing that God of Israel who is the true Christ. It's about faith in him Christ and living a righteous holy life obeying the Vine. Some people are abundantly rich and they're following all the very sinful ways loaded with sin galore. You know let's remind people you can gain the world and lose your soul. What will it profit you to gain the world and forfeit your soul? The thief on the cross was nailed to a cross bleeding dying and repented and put his faith in the Messiah being persecuted right beside him and he was offered eternal life but the other thief tempted Christ. Christ didn't tell him he would be in paradise too. He had nothing but his soul. Let me give you a wake up call when you leave this earth you take nothing with you but your soul. Let me give you another wake up stunning shocker wake up call. God is not into fantasy novels and sex novels and things to do with sin and fancy cars and luxuries of Hollywood. He said to go out and make disciples, go out and turn people from Satan unto God. Not to go out and turn people from Satan back to Satan and then what ends up happening is the proselyte becomes twice the devil as those wicked people deceiving you. Did you know that the true Christ changed lives people that used to be on the streets in some cases have great testimonies now today some of these people are great leaders. Some of them are living an abundant l ife in Christ from where they came from. The testimonies are endless of the lives he's changed because he is real. But a lot of people fail to acknowledge him. People make many false gods you know the hippie Jesus, the pagan Jesus, the sinful Jesus with Mary Magdalene, the Black Jesus and so on. Let alone idolatry and atheism or Hinduism, many forms of paganism. They love everything but the truth that could set them free.

In the beginning God. It doesn't say in the beginning sin. The word was with God  and the word was God.

Let me elaborate on this in closing people have given millions maybe billions over centuries to charities and a lot of money doesn't get to the poor it gets embezzled by fraudulent activity in some cases. I am sure there are honest Charities and people who do care. It's a known biblical concept that we should give thanks and supplication for everything acknowledge God in everything we do. But if you don't know God and you have made many counterfeit gods while deceiving yourself that you could live in your sin holding on to your sin and know God you're deceived massively. David said it exactly the truth but the person he was talking to made his point in the end either ignorantly or not realizing what David was correcting them on and showing them it's what's on the inside the poverty. Lack of truth, lack of understanding/Holiness. lack of faith filled with sin and all manner of rebellion.
