I HAVE HEARD ALL MY LIFE, "ONCE SAVED, ALWAYS SAVED", AND I HAVE HEARD A LOT OF MINISTERS AND PEOPLE SAY THAT IT WAS NOT TRUE. WELL, WHEN I WAS NOT REALLY STUDYING THE BIBLE, I REALLY DID NOT KNOW. I ALWAYS HOPED IT WAS TRUE THAT I WOULD ALWAYS BE SAVED BUT NO ONE COULD TELL ME.
PARENTS, DO YOU LOVE YOUR CHILDREN SO MUCH THAT YOU WANT TO GIVE THEM THE THINGS THEY NEED OR EVEN JUST THINGS THEY WANT? IF WE LOVE OUR CHILDREN THIS MUCH, DON'T YOU KNOW THAT GOD, WHO IS LOVE, LOVES US A LOT MORE AND WANTS TO DO THE SAME FOR US? MOST CHRISTIANS WOULD SAY HE HAS GIVEN US THE MOST IMPORTANT THING HE COULD AND THAT IS SALVATION, AND I AGREE.

God's kind of love is not self-serving or self-seeking. Agape love will cause a person to lay down his life for another (Jn. 15:13), because he has literally forgotten himself. Many times when heros are asked why they put themselves in jeopardy to save someone else, they reply that they didn't even think about themselves. I GET SO TIRED OF HEARING PEOPLE TALK ABOUT RELIGIONS OTHER THAN CHRISTIANITY. YOU CAN USUALLY TELL THAT THEY HAVE HEARD JUST ENOUGH TO MAKE THEM SOUND STUPID. THE STATEMENT I HATE IS "THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO GET TO HEAVEN". DO THEY REALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY ARE SAYING? DO THEY EVER READ THE BIBLE? EVIDENTLY NOT, IN BOTH CASES. ONE SIMPLE LITTLE VERSE MAKES ALL OF THIS VERY CLEAR AND THAT IS JOHN 14:6 WHERE JESUS SAYS "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

The Silence Of The Son
Luke 22:63-64 'And the men that held Jesus mocked him, and smote him. And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote thee?'
Here is the account of God's own creation mocking and insulting His Son without Him intervening. The pain that this must have caused the Father defies description.
Those who struck Jesus and told Him to prophesy who it was that struck Him, must have taken Jesus' silence as proof that He was not who He claimed to be.

Matthew 26:75 'And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.'
There are several Greek words used for 'word.' The Greek word used here is RHEMA and it literally means, 'a spoken word; an utterance, a saying, but specifically a spoken word appropriate for the situation.'
