"WE ARE COMPLETE, ONLY IN HIM" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

We Are Complete, Only In Him

Matthew 26:28 'For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.'

MATTHEW 26:27-29

The principle of the Old Covenant was 'do' and you shall live. The principle of the New Covenant is 'it is done,' and includes redemption, reconciliation, righteousness, and sanctification. The work is finished! We are complete in Him!

If the Old Covenant had no defects, there would have been no attempt to institute another (Heb. 8:7). In the Old Covenant, men found themselves unable to abide in its agreement, for it was based upon a man's performance.

The new agreement, however, is based totally upon God's...

"OUR GOD IS ALIVE" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

OUR GOD IS ALIVE

AREN'T YOU GLAD WE HAVE A LIVING GOD?  JUST THINK, ALL THE OTHER RELIGIONS HAVE DEAD GODS AND CAN'T CLAIM THEIR GODS ARE ALIVE.  WITH JESUS, THE ROMANS EVEN GAVE PROOF TO THE WORLD THAT JESUS ROSE FROM THE DEAD.  THEY STATIONED A WATCH AT THE TOMB TO MAKE SURE NO ONE STOLE HIS BODY BUT WHEN HE CAME OUT OF THAT TOMB, LOOK WHAT THE SOLDIERS DID.  THIS IS FOUND IN MATTHEW 28:4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake , and...

"BEING A NEW CREATURE IN JESUS" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

BEING A NEW CREATURE IN JESUS

DID YOU KNOW THAT BEFORE JESUS WAS BORN, WE WERE NOT INCLUDED IN GOD'S COVENANT WITH ABRAHAM?  IT WAS FOR THE JEWS ONLY AND WE WERE ALL LOST, BEING GENTILES.  HOWEVER, WE ARE IN A NEW COVENANT OF GRACE THROUGH JESUS.  JEWS AND GENTILES WERE RECONCILED THROUGH HIM BUT IT IS A NECESSITY FOR BOTH TO RECEIVE HIM AS THEIR SAVIOR.

I USUALLY USE THE KING JAMES VERSION OF THE BIBLE IN MY MORNING MESSAGES BUT IN READING EPHESIANS 2:11-18 IN THE NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION, I REALLY LIKED IT AND DECIDED TO USE IT HERE.  I QUOTE IT BELOW.

Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called “uncircumcised” by those who call themselves “the circumcision” (which is done in the body by human hands)—remember that at that time...

"LET GOD MINISTER TO YOU" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Let God Minister To You

John 13:8 'Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.'

LOST REVERENCE FOR GOD AND THE BIBLE

DO YOU FEEL STRANGE BEING CALLED GOD'S CHILD?  DO YOU KNOW YOU ARE JOINT HEIRS WITH JESUS?  THE BIBLE TELLS US THAT WE ARE BOTH OF THESE.  LET'S JUST READ WHAT IT SAYS IN ROMANS 8:14-17 "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together."

"COMMUNION IS SACRED" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Communion Is Sacred

Luke 22:19 'And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.'

The bread of communion symbolizes the body of Jesus which was broken for us through His sufferings. He not only died for us on the cross but also bore 39 stripes on His back by which we are healed. Partaking of communion should remind us of the emotional and physical salvation that Jesus provided for us.

The Lord's Supper comes from a part of the Passover meal that was celebrated only once a year. However, the early Christian church took Communion weekly and sometimes daily. There is no...

"TEST THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Test The Gifts Of The Spirit

Luke 22:13 'And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.'

When a true gift of the Spirit is in operation, things will always be as the Lord has said (an exception to this is if there are conditions to meet).

This is the ultimate test of whether or not someone's words are God-inspired (Dt. 18:22).

We cannot be led by just our own feelings concerning the gifts of the Spirit.

In 1 Corinthians chapter 12, the apostle Paul gives us direction governing the use of spiritual gifts that must supersede any urge or leading that we feel.

The first test to apply to any gift of the Spirit is to...

"YOU CANNOT SERVE TWO MASTERS" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

By DAVID A. MCMILLEN, 2019-10-07

YOU CANNOT SERVE TWO MASTERS

DID YOU KNOW YOU ARE A SLAVE?  THAT'S RIGHT, WE ARE ALL SLAVES.  WE ARE EITHER A SLAVE TO SIN, WHICH IS OUR CARNAL SELF, OR A SLAVE TO JESUS AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS.  AND, WE CAN'T BE A SLAVE TO BOTH AS WE CANNOT SERVE TWO MASTERS.  THE DICTIONARY DEFINES "SLAVE" AS "a bond servant".

IN ROMANS 1:1, PAUL SAYS HE IS A SLAVE OR SERVANT "a servant of Jesus Christ" AND IN TITUS 1:1 HE CALLS HIMSELF "a servant of God".  WE ALL SHOULD BE PROUD TO BE A SLAVE TO JESUS.  IF WE ARE NOT AND ARE STILL KNOWINGLY COMMITTING SIN, WE SHOULD KNOW WHO WE ARE SLAVES TO.  JESUS TELLS US WHO IN JOHN 8:34 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin."

"RESIST THE TEMPTATION OF SIN" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Resist The Temptation Of Sin

Luke 22:3 'Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.'

Some people have speculated that Judas betrayed Jesus in an effort to force Jesus into a confrontation with the Roman government. Then He would have to use His supernatural power in self-defense and overthrow the Romans, thereby giving independence back to the nation of Israel.

This idea is based mainly on the response of Judas when he saw that Jesus was condemned. Judas 'repented himself' (Mt. 27:3), implying that the condemnation of Jesus was never his intent. However, scripture does not endow Judas with noble (even if misdirected) virtues. He...
