"WE ARE ONLY COMPLETE IN CHRIST" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

We Are Only Complete In Christ

John 20:31 'But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.'

Recognition of our completeness in Christ is a tremendous safeguard against deception. Prior to salvation we are incomplete and constantly strive to satisfy our hunger. But through the new birth, we are complete in Christ and our hunger should only be for more revelation of what we already have in Christ. Total satisfaction with Christ disarms Satan's lies. A big part of all temptation is dissatisfaction.

Adam and Eve would not have eaten of the forbidden fruit if they hadn't been made dissatisfied with what they had. Through Satan's lie they were led to believe that they...

"OUR GREATEST TREASURE IS JESUS" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

OUR GREATEST TREASURE IS JESUS

IT SAYS IN 1ST TIMOTHY 6:10 THAT "The love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."  WHEN WE THINK ABOUT THINGS WE WISH FOR AND WANT FOR OUR FAMILIES, IS THAT COVETING AND A SIN?

"ARE YOU REJOICING?" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

By DAVID A. MCMILLEN, 2020-12-23
ARE YOU REJOICING?

ARE YOU BEING PERSECUTED FOR BELIEVING IN AND SHARING JESUS WITH OTHERS?  PERSECUTION IS BEING HARASSED OR OPPRESSED, ESPECIALLY BECAUSE OF YOUR BELIEF IN JESUS.  IF YOU ARE BEING PERSECUTED, LOOK WHAT JESUS TELLS US TO DO IN MATTHEW 5:12 WHEN HE SAYS "Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you."  OUR BELIEF IN HIM WILL BE REWARDED FAR GREATER THAN ANY SUFFERING WE MIGHT ENCOUNTER.

WHETHER YOU KNOW IT OR NOT, JESUS TAKES YOUR PERSECUTION VERY SERIOUSLY.  AFTER PAUL HAD BEEN TRAVELING AROUND, PUTTING BELIEVERS IN JESUS IN PRISON AND HAVING SOME PUT TO DEATH, JESUS ASK HIM WHY HE WAS PERSECUTING HIM, NOT THE...

"SUPERNATURAL FAITH" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Supernatural Faith

John 20:25 'The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.'

Thomas refused to believe what He couldn't see or feel. Our five senses were given to us by God and are necessary to help us function in this life. But if we do not renew our minds to acknowledge the limits of our five senses, they will keep us from believing. Faith can perceive things that the senses cannot (Heb. 11:1).

There is a human faith and a supernatural, God-kind of faith. Human faith is based on physical things that we can see, taste, hear, smell, or feel. God's kind of...

A SPECIAL GIFT FOR JESUS

WHAT DO YOU GET SOMEONE YOU LOVE VERY MUCH?   I AM TALKING ABOUT JESUS.  IT IS HIS BIRTHDAY COMING UP SO HAVE YOU GOT HIM ANYTHING YET?

I HAVE THOUGHT LONG AND HARD ABOUT WHAT SOMEONE COULD GIVE HIM AND I HAVE COME UP WITH A FEW THINGS.  HOW ABOUT YOUR TRUE LOVE AND DEVOTION?  THAT WOULD BE A NICE GIFT AND I KNOW HE WOULD LOVE IT.  HOW ABOUT YOUR OBEDIENCE?  I KNOW HE WOULD LOVE THAT TOO AND THE GOOD THING ABOUT THAT GIFT IS THAT YOU WOULD BENEFIT FROM IT.  ANYTIME WE OBEY HIS WORD IT IS REWARDING FOR US.

"THE EFFECTS OF SIN" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

The Effects Of Sin

John 20:23 'Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.'

The meaning of this verse has been hotly debated for centuries. One thing is certain, it does not mean we have the power to justify a person from his sins so he can be born again; only God can do that.

Many people have taught that Jesus is saying, that if we fail to witness to others, we are retaining their sins unto them, and if we do share His love with others, then we are remitting their sins. Although there is truth in this statement, it is not what this verse is teaching. Rather, this verse deals with the temporal effects that sin has on a person's life. Not only is there a future death penalty for sin, but sin...

"HEAL SOMEONE TODAY" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

HEAL SOMEONE TODAY

EVERY TIME I READ ABOUT HEALING IN THE BIBLE IT MAKES ME WANT TO WRITE SOMETHING ABOUT IT.  I KNOW I MIGHT TOUCH ON THE SAME THINGS SOMETIMES BUT PLEASE JUST BEAR WITH ME. THERE JUST MIGHT BE SOMEONE OUT THERE THAT REALLY NEEDS TO HEAR THIS OR HAS JUST BECOME A FRIEND OF MINE ON FACEBOOK.  THANK YOU.

A LOT OF CHRISTIANS END MOST OF THEIR PRAYERS WITH "IF IT BE THY WILL".  THIS IS WHETHER THEY ARE PRAYING FOR HEALING, FINANCIAL HELP OR A JOB THEY HAVE APPLIED FOR. AS...

"MINISTER THE GOOD NEWS" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Minister The Good News

John 20:21 'Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.'

The dictionary states that to reconcile means to re-establish friendship between; to settle or resolve, as a dispute. The key to reconciliation is to effectively deal with the enmity, ill will, hatred, or hostility that caused the dispute, etc.

The enmity between man and God was sin. God took the initiative to remove this barrier through the means and agency of Jesus Christ, thus leaving man and God as friends once again.

We have received the ministry of reconciliation. That means we are in the ministry of reconciling people to God. Much of what people call the gospel today is actually alienating man from God. True, we...

"OUR HOLINESS IS IN JESUS" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

OUR HOLINESS IS IN JESUS

DO YOU KNOW WHY WE SHOULD BE AS HOLY AS WE CAN?  IT IS NOT TO TRY TO KEEP OUR SALVATION BUT TO STOP SATAN FROM STEALING OUR FAITH AND GIVING HIM AN OPEN INVITATION TO DO HIS EVIL IN OUR LIVES.  HE WILL TAKE EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO DO THIS.  HE DOES IT BY SETTING THINGS IN FRONT OF US THAT WILL TEMPT US TO SIN.

FOR INSTANCE, HE WILL HAVE SOMEONE MAKE YOU MAD SO YOU WILL EITHER DO OR SAY SOMETHING YOU SHOULDN'T.  I AM SURE YOU CAN THINK OF MANY WAYS HE...

"BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Be Filled With The Holy Ghost

Luke 24:49 'And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.'

This filling of the Holy Ghost is subsequent to the born-again experience.

Paul reveals in Rom. 10:9, that a person has to confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that Jesus was raised from the dead, before he can be saved.

It is possible to be saved, yet not have what Jesus said was the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Since the Holy Spirit is now given freely and we don't have to tarry for His coming, we can receive salvation and the baptism of the Holy Spirit at the same time. However, it is not automatic. We must ask and believe for the baptism of...
