          "But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out." 1Timothy 6:6,7

It's enough to have God and be satisfied.The idea of having more and more spins around the drain and disappears as we allow ourselves to be satisfied with what we have. The peace that follows takes the number one slot on the top ten list of good things in life, and that peace is free, costing us nothing except to lay all of our worldy ideas down before Jesus. At this time you might say, "I'm good!" in response to anyone that inquires of your status, knowing that all is well within, all is temporary here, and that nothing acquired in this life can escort you into the pearly gates or follow you onto the roads paved with gold that we will find when we arrive at our final destination. Psalm 49:16 and 17 tells it like this, "Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased. For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him." 

Only Godliness, righteousness, and holiness will accompany us in the end, therefore we will not leave this world alone or empty handed, unless of course we have forsaken the pursuit of these and sought after other acquisitions.
