              "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:" 1Peter 5:8

Imposter, deceiver, imitator, and wanna-be! The devil is a liar, it says here, he is "as a roaring lion" because he wants to be a lion, he's an imitator of a lion, but the reality is, he's a mouse! There's only one true lion and His name is Jesus, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah! Revelation 5:5 Nevertheless, satan our enemy, the mouse, is on the hunt for easy prey and we are given this warning to be alert. He is a mouse and mice like cheese, but we are rooted in the meat of God's word and not the milk only, wherefore we put on the whole armor of God, standing firm and resisting his attacks, having our loins girt about with the truth of God, such as, the devil is a liar, and we put on the breastplate of God's righteousness, having our feet shod with the prepared shoes of peace, having our shields of faith raised to deflect all words of doubt and unbelief, and finally having our minds guarded with the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit which is the word of God.

This wanna-be is so tiny, so quick, so quiet, that too often we cannot see him, but if we are prepared with the truth of God's word we will turn on the light switch and expose him! The devil is a liar not a lion!
