"THERE ARE TWO BELIEVERS IN JESUS" FROM JESUS CHRIST IS LORD
There are two believers in Messiah Jesus.
One says "Jesus died for me. I will continue to live my life the way I want and rest in his grace and sacrifice for my sins. Everyone sins, Everyone is imperfect and God loves me the way that I am. The only person who is perfect is Jesus and there is no point trying to fulfill something he already fulfilled for me".
The other says "Jesus died for me. Out of obedience, I will try to the best of my ability to keep the commandments that he kept. I will set myself apart from the world. I will live a Holy life trying to live how he would live. I will try my best to make sure I don't sin and if I do, I will rely on his grace to cover me."
One of these believers has a new heart and new spirit of obedience. One of these believers is performing lip service.
In Matthew 11:20-24 Jesus rebukes the cities who had seen Jesus perform miracles, heal the sick and cast out demons but still did not turn away from their sins. They loved Jesus though they weren't really interested in turning away from sin and living a Holy life. How much more will he rebuke those who know about the death/resurrection but still do not turn away from sin and start living a Holy life? Jesus went as far as to say that Sodom and Gomorrah would have more mercy on judgement day!
Just think about that for a second... People who saw Jesus with their very own eyes, had demons cast out of them and even got healed would be seen as more wicked than Sodom. If the believers of Jesus who lived a life of sin were even to make it into his kingdom then they would be called "least" compared to the believers who kept God's commandments (Matthew 5:19-20).
Will you be called 'least' or 'great' in his Kingdom? Will you even make it into his Kingdom? If you're not sure then perhaps you need to clean up your life and start being obedient to God & his word. Why? "For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified." (Romans 2:13)
