THE DECEIVER IS DECEIVED
HAVE YOU EVER HEARD THAT SATAN TOOK ONE-THIRD OF THE ANGELS WITH HIM WHEN HE WAS CAST OUT OF HEAVEN? I CAN FIND NO VERSE THAT SAYS THIS. I BELIEVE THIS COMES FROM COMBINING A FEW VERSES TOGETHER. I WILL SHOW YOU WHAT I MEAN.
ISAIAH 14:12 SPEAKS OF SATAN AS THE MORNING STAR. "How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn!"
IN LUKE 10:18 JESUS SAID "I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven."
IN REVELATION 1:9 SATAN IS SEEN AS A STAR FALLING TO THE EARTH "And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit." THIS ALL POINTS TO SATAN BEING CALLED A STAR.
IN REVELATION 12:3-4 IT SAYS "And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth." AND VERSE 9 SAYS "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."
LET ME SAY ONE OTHER THING ABOUT SATAN AND HIS ANGELS. EVEN IF HE DID TAKE A THIRD WITH HIM, DOESN'T HE REALIZE THAT GOD HAS THE OTHER TWO THIRDS AND CAN EVEN MAKE AS MANY AS HE WANTS OR NEEDS. SATAN CAN'T DO THAT. AND, DOES HE BELIEVE HE CAN BEAT GOD, HIS CREATOR? I KNOW HE IS A DECEIVER BUT I BELIEVE HE IS DECEIVED HIMSELF. LET'S JUST MAKE SURE WE ARE NOT DECEIVED.
