ALL OF GOD'S PROMISES ARE TRUE
DID YOU KNOW THAT GOD CANNOT LIED? DID YOU KNOW HE PROMISED US ETERNAL LIFE BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN? ALL THAT IS TOLD TO US IN TITUS 1:2 WHERE IT SAYS "In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began." THAT IS A POWERFUL LITTLE VERSE.
NOW THINK OF ALL THE OTHER PROMISES IN THE BIBLE. A PROMISE IS A PLEDGE OR VOW DECLARING THAT YOU WILL DO SOMETHING. THESE ARE ALL TRUE AND ARE FOR US IF WE WOULD JUST HAVE FAITH TO BELIEVE GOD AND RECEIVE THEM.
SOME PEOPLE DON'T BELIEVE ALL THE PROMISES OF GOD ARE TRUE. WELL, I HAVE NEWS FOR THEM THAT IF GOD BROKE ONE OF THOSE PROMISES, THE WHOLE UNIVERSE WOULD SELF-DESTRUCT. DON'T BELIEVE ME? LOOK AT WHAT IT SAYS IN HEBREWS 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. DID YOU SEE IT? "UPHOLDING ALL THINGS BY THE WORD OF HIS POWER".
JESUS IS THE WORD AND THAT WORD IS THE MOST POWERFUL THING THAT CAN EVER BE. ALL THINGS WERE CREATED BY HIM AS IT SAYS IN COLOSSIANS 1:14-16 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him. THINK THERE IS ANYTHING MORE POWERFUL? ME NEITHER.
I LOVE WHAT IT SAYS IN HEBREWS 6:17-19 WHERE IT SAYS " Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast , and whichentereth into that within the veil ". OUR SOUL IS THE PART OF US THAT CAN DRIFT AWAY FROM GOD IF WE DON'T STAY IN HIS WORD. WE ALL NEED TO LET JESUS BE OUR ANCHOR. ALL HIS PROMISES AND TRUE, HE CANNOT LIE, ALL THINGS WERE CREATED BY HIM AND HE LOVED US ENOUGH TO DIE FOR US. IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THAT.
