FALSE PROPHETS
DO YOU REALLY KNOW YOUR PASTOR OR SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER? BELIEVE IT OR NOT, A LOT OF CHRISTIANS HAVE NO IDEA HOW THEIR PASTORS OR TEACHERS LIVE THEIR EVERYDAY LIVES. THEY SEE THEM ON SUNDAY MORNINGS, LISTEN TO THEIR SERMONS OR TEACHINGS, AND COULD CARE LESS WHAT THEY DO THE REST OF THEIR WEEK.
I HAVE KNOWN PASTORS AND TEACHERS THAT DO THEIR TEACHINGS ON SUNDAY BUT DO SOME THINGS THE REST OF THE WEEK THAT ARE NOT JESUS LIKE. WE NEED TO REALLY KNOW OUR PASTORS AND TEACHERS. WHAT ARE THEIR FRUITS? DO THEY SHOW JESUS IN THEIR EVERYDAY LIVES? MATTHEW 7:20 SAYS "Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." I BELIEVE THAT SOME OF THESE PEOPLE REALLY DON'T WANT TO DECEIVE US BUT DON'T REALLY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TEACHING.
THEN THERE ARE DECEIVERS OUT THERE THAT KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING IN THEIR DECEPTIONS AND THESE ARE THE ONES WE "MUST" MAKE SURE WE WATCH OUT FOR. WHAT THEY ARE TEACHING DOES NOT LINE UP WITH GOD'S WORD AND WE MUST KNOW OUR BIBLE TO REALIZE THIS AND NOT BE DECEIVE.
JESUS SAY IN MATTHEW 7:21:23 "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. " GOD'S WILL IS FOR US TO KNOW HIS WORD SO WE WON'T BE DECEIVED.
FALSE PROPHETS WERE A REAL CONCERN FOR JESUS AND HE MADE IT CLEAR IN MANY OF HIS TEACHINGS. LOOK WHAT HE SAYS IN MATTHEW 24:4-5 AND 11-13, 4-5 "And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many." AND 11-13 "And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved." I PRAY THAT WE ALL ENDURE UNTO THE END.
