I AM AN 80 YEAR OLD MALE, BORN AGAIN, CHRISTIAN WITH A LOVE FOR JESUS. I DO NOT GET OUT MUCH ANYMORE BUT FIND THAT TELLING PEOPLE ABOUT THE LOVE JESUS HAS FOR THEM IS NOT ONLY WHAT WE ARE SUPPOSED TO DO BUT SOMETHING THAT THE WORLD NEEDS.

BEING BORN AGAIN
WHAT IS SALVATION? I LOVE THIS DEFINITION...."The redemption of man from the bondage of sin and liability to eternal death, and the conferring on him everlasting happiness. This is the great salvation." THE CONFERRING ON US "EVERLASTING HAPPINESS". IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THIS "EVERLASTING HAPPINESS", IT IS TIME YOU DID.
THE BIBLE SAYS THAT JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY. (ACTS 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.) JUST CONSIDER FOR A MOMENT WHAT IS MEANT BY BEING "SAVED" OR "BORN AGAIN". IT MEANS YOU WON'T GO TO HELL AND THAT ALONE SHOULD BE A GOOD INCENTIVE, BUT THAT IS NOT ALL. BEING SAVED GIVES US DIRECT ACCESS TO GOD. THAT'S RIGHT, WE CAN GO DIRECTLY TO HIM WITH ALL OUR REQUESTS AND TO GIVE HIM THANKS. AND IF THAT IS NOT ENOUGH, GOD SENT THE HOLY SPIRIT TO GUIDE US. (JOHN 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.)
WE NEED TO REALIZE ALL THE POWER THAT WE HAVE THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT. JESUS TOLD HIS DISCIPLES TO WAIT TILL THEY RECEIVED THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT BEFORE THEY WENT OUT ON THEIR MINISTRY JOURNEYS. (ACTS 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.) THE REASON THEY HAD TO WAIT IS BECAUSE JESUS HAD TO DIE FIRST. (JOHN 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.) WE NEED TO USE THIS POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN OUR EVERY DAY LIVES. WHY DO YOU THINK HE IS CALLED THE "COMFORTER"?
IF YOU ARE NOT BORN AGAIN YOU NEED TO BE AND CAN DO IT RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE. A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE POSTED THE FOLLOWING ON HER TIMELINE AND I AM REPOSTING IT HERE BECAUSE IT IS WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO TO BE SAVED. JUST PRAY THIS PRAYER AND BELIEVE IT WITH ALL YOUR HEART. "Dear God, I am a sinner. I am sorry for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I believe that Jesus Christ is your Son. I believe that He died for me, that He rose from the grave and that He is alive. I want to invite Him to come into my heart to take control from this day forward. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen."
IF YOU REALLY BELIEVE ALL OF THIS AND ARE SINCERE, WELCOME TO THE KINGDOM OF GOD. NOW YOU NEED TO FIND A CHRISTIAN FRIEND AND TELL THEM WHAT YOU HAVE DONE. BRAG ABOUT IT, IT IS SOMETHING TO BE PROUD OF. ASK THEM IF YOU CAN GO TO CHURCH WITH THEM. GET A BIBLE AND START STUDYING IT. IT IS YOUR GUIDELINE FOR YOUR CHRISTIAN LIFE. ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT TO TEACH YOU WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW AND REALLY STUDY. YOU WILL BE SURPRISED HOW MUCH FUN IT IS AND WHAT A GOOD FEELING IT IS TO BE SO CLOSE TO JESUS. HE LOVED YOU ENOUGH TO DIE FOR YOU SO YOU CAN AT LEASE LOVE HIM ENOUGH TO LIVE FOR HIM. GOD BLESS YOU AND I AM PROUD OF YOU.
