I AM AN 80 YEAR OLD MALE, BORN AGAIN, CHRISTIAN WITH A LOVE FOR JESUS. I DO NOT GET OUT MUCH ANYMORE BUT FIND THAT TELLING PEOPLE ABOUT THE LOVE JESUS HAS FOR THEM IS NOT ONLY WHAT WE ARE SUPPOSED TO DO BUT SOMETHING THAT THE WORLD NEEDS.

EXERCISING YOUR FAITH
EXERCISING YOUR FAITH
WHAT DO YOU DO TO KEEP YOUR BODY IN SHAPE? SOME PEOPLE WALK, JOG OR GO TO A GYM. IT IS IMPORTANT TO KEEP OUR BODIES EXERCISED OR OUR MUSSELS WILL GET WEAK AND EVENTUALLY BE OF NO USE TO US. WHAT DO YOU DO TO KEEP YOUR FAITH IN SHAPE? SOME PEOPLE FELLOWSHIP WITH THE LORD OR STUDY THEIR BIBLE.
I BELIEVE IT IS MORE IMPORTANT TO KEEP OUR FAITH IN GOOD SHAPE THAN OUR BODIES BUT MOST PEOPLE DON'T EVEN THINK OF THEIR FAITH IN THIS WAY. IF OUR FAITH IS NOT CONSTANTLY FED WITH GOD'S WORD, IT WILL BECOME WEAK AND WHEN WE REALLY NEED TO DEPEND ON IT, THE POWER IS JUST NOT THERE. JUST AS OUR BODIES WILL BECOME UNPRODUCTIVE, OUR FAITH WILL BECOME UNPRODUCTIVE.
THERE ARE A FEW IMPORTANT THINGS ABOUT FAITH:
WE KNOW THAT IT COMES BY HEARING THE WORD OF GOD. (ROMANS 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.)
WE KNOW THAT WE ALL HAVE IT. (ROMANS 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith."
WE KNOW THAT IT HAS SUBSTANCE AND IS THE EVIDENCE OF THE THINGS WE CANNOT SEE. (HEBREWS 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.)
WE KNOW THAT IF YOU HAVE AS LITTLE AS A GRAIN OF MUSTARD SEED, YOU CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS. (ROMANS 21:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.)
AND, I THINK THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE IS THAT WITHOUT IT, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE GOD. (HEBREWS 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.)
SO KEEP YOUR FAITH BUILT UP SO THAT WHEN YOU ARE DECLARING GOD'S WORD, EITHER IN HEALING, PROSPERITY OR WHATEVER, THERE WILL NOT BE ANY DOUBT OR UNBELIEF, WHATSOEVER, AS TO WHETHER GOD WILL DO IT FOR YOU. IF YOU HAVE A "MOUNTAIN" IN YOUR LIFE, SPEAK TO IT AND CAST IF OUT. JESUS SAID "IT SHALL BE DONE".
