I AM AN 80 YEAR OLD MALE, BORN AGAIN, CHRISTIAN WITH A LOVE FOR JESUS. I DO NOT GET OUT MUCH ANYMORE BUT FIND THAT TELLING PEOPLE ABOUT THE LOVE JESUS HAS FOR THEM IS NOT ONLY WHAT WE ARE SUPPOSED TO DO BUT SOMETHING THAT THE WORLD NEEDS.

WAYS TO PRAY
WAYS TO PRAY
ARE YOUR PRAYERS BEING ANSWERED? IF NOT, WHY? THERE MUST BE A REASON AND IT CERTAINLY IS NOT JESUS' FAULT. HE SAYS IN JOHN 14:13-14 "And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it." ARE YOU ASKING IN THE NAME OF JESUS? IF NOT, THAT COULD BE ONE OF YOUR PROBLEMS. THAT IS A PROMISE FROM JESUS AND HE DOESN'T BREAK HIS PROMISES. HERE IS ANOTHER PROMISE FOUND IN MATTHEW 7:7-8 WHERE JESUS SAYS "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." I AM ONLY BRINGING THIS UP BECAUSE I WANT TO HELP.
THERE IS ANOTHER PROBLEM SOME PEOPLE HAVE WHEN PRAYING. IT IS FOUND IN MATTHEW 6:7 WHERE IT SAYS "But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking." DO YOU PRAY SO THAT PEOPLE WILL HEAR INSTEAD OF PRAYING SO GOD CAN HEAR? SOME PEOPLE DO THIS BUT IF THEY ARE NOT SINCERE, THEY MIGHT AS WELL NOT PRAY. LOOK WHAT THE LORD SAYS IN JEREMIAH 29:11-13 WHERE HE TALKS ABOUT PRAYING TO HIM, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart." ARE YOU SEEKING JESUS WITH ALL YOUR HEART? IF NOT, THAT COULD BE ANOTHER PROBLEM.
I HAVE ONE MORE THING TO ADD TO ALL OF THIS. WHEN THE DOCTOR TELLS US TO TAKE THESE PILLS AND CALL ME IN TWO WEEKS, WE DO IT, BUT WE EXPECT GOD TO ANSWER OUR PRAYERS RIGHT AWAY BUT THAT IS NOT WHAT HIS WORD SAYS. HE SAYS "WE SHALL HAVE THEM", FUTURE TENSE. PRAYING OVER AND OVER AGAIN FOR THE SAME THING IS NOT RIGHT EITHER. JESUS TELLS US ALL OF THIS IN MARK 11:24 WHEN HE SAYS WE HAVE TO BELIEVE WE HAVE RECEIVED WHATEVER WE HAVE PRAYED FOR WHEN WE PRAY. LOOK WHAT IT SAYS "24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."
I HOPE THIS HELPS GET SOME PRAYERS ANSWERED. IT IS ALL GOD'S WORD AND IF WE WILL JUST FOLLOW HIS DIRECTIONS, HE WILL DO WHAT HE SAYS HE WILL DO. WE HAVE TO HAVE FAITH TO BELIEVE THIS AND IF WE DON'T, IT IS NOT GOING TO WORK. IT IS UP TO US.
