IS IT GOD'S WILL TO HEAL?
I HAVE WRITTEN ABOUT THIS BEFORE BUT FEEL IT NEEDS TO BE REPEATED. WHEN PEOPLE PRAY FOR GOD TO HEAL THEMSELVES, OR SOMEONE ELSE, AND SAY "IF IT BE THY WILL", TO ME, THAT IS LIKE A SLAP IN THE FACE TO JESUS. 1ST PETER 2:24 SAYS "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed." IF HE DID THAT FOR US, WHY WOULD WE HAVE TO SAY "IF IT BE THY WILL?" WOULDN'T THIS PROVE THAT IT IS?
SICKNESS IS A CURSE. LOOK WHAT IT SAYS IN DEUTERONOMY 7:15 "And the Lord will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee." JESUS TOOK CARE OF THAT WHEN HE WENT TO THE CROSS. NOW LOOK AT GALATIANS 3:13 "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree."
ANOTHER THING, JESUS NEVER TURNED DOWN ANYONE WHO NEEDED HEALING AND HE SAID THAT HE ONLY DID WHAT HE SAW HIS FATHER DO. (JOHN 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.) FROM SCRIPTURE, IT IS ALWAYS GOD'S WILL TO HEAL US. WE NEED TO KNOW GOD'S WORD IN ORDER TO PRAY EFFECTIVELY. JESUS DID IT ALL WHEN HE WENT TO THE CROSS FOR US. HE TOOK CARE OF ALL OUR SINS BUT ALSO TOOK CARE OF ALL OUR SICKNESSES. IF HE TOOK CARE OF THEM FOR US, WHY SHOULD WE HAVE TO HAVE ANY OF THEM? I AM RECEIVING MY HEALING DAILY, HOW ABOUT YOU?
