THE RESURRECTION...CAN YOU PROVE IT HAPPENED?
PEOPLE HAVE ASKED ME HOW I KNOW THAT JESUS ROSE FROM THE DEAD. I TELL THEM THAT THE BIBLE SAYS HE DID AND I BELIEVE THE BIBLE. ALSO, I KNOW BECAUSE HE IS ALIVE AND FELLOWSHIPS WITH ME. I CAN FEEL HIM WITH ME. I KNOW BECAUSE HE HAS HEALED ME OF MANY THINGS. I KNOW BY FAITH.
THEY SAY WHAT PROOF DO YOU HAVE. THE ROMANS GAVE US THE BEST PHYSICAL PROOF. THE PRIESTS AND PHARISEES WENT TO PILATE AND SAID IN MATTHEW 27:63-65 "Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again. Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first. Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can."
THE PROBLEM WE HAVE THESE DAYS, AS IT WAS BACK THEN, IS THAT SOME PEOPLE WILL NOT BELIEVE NO MATTER WHAT PROOF YOU GIVE THEM. LOOK WHAT LUKE 16:29-31 SAYS "Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead."
THERE ARE PEOPLE THAT LIKE TO ARGUE ABOUT THE BIBLE AND ARE ALWAYS WANTING PROOF SO DON'T GET CAUGHT UP IN THAT. JUST PRAY THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL OPEN THEIR EYES. THIS IS THE ONLY HOPE THEY HAVE. JUST LET THEM SEE JESUS IN YOU. WE ARE GOD'S LIVING BIBLE OR SHOULD BE.
WE ALL NEED TO BE READY FOR THOSE QUESTIONS AND HAVE THE RIGHT ANSWERS. HOW WILL WE KNOW IF WE DON'T STUDY THE BIBLE. HOWEVER, DON'T BE THROWN OFF IF THEY ASK YOU A QUESTION AND YOU DON'T KNOW THE ANSWER. JUST TELL THEM YOU DON'T KNOW BUT YOU CAN CERTAINLY FIND OUT FOR THEM. THIS GIVES YOU AN OPPORTUNITY TO GET BACK WITH THEM WHEN YOU FIND THE ANSWER. THEY MAY BE REALLY SEARCHING FOR SOMETHING THEY NEED IN THEIR LIVES. LET'S INTRODUCE THEM TO JESUS. HE WANTS TO BE IN THEIR LIVES. TELL THEM OF HIS LOVE AND WHAT HE DID FOR US ALL.
