HOW GREAT WAS IT WHEN JESUS RAISED THE WIDOW'S SON FROM THE DEAD. JUST READ AND REALLY THINK ABOUT HOW THIS WOMAN MUST HAVE FELT. LUKE 7:11-15 Soon afterward, Jesus went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a large crowd went along with him. As he approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried out—the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her. When the Lord saw her, his heart went out to her and he said, “Don’t cry.”Then he went up and touched the bier they were carrying him on, and the bearers stood still. He said, “Young man, I say to you, get up!” The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother. CAN YOU IMAGINE TAKING YOUR SON TO BE BURIED WHEN THIS MAN COMES UP AND RAISES YOUR SON FROM THE DEAD?
JESUS USED ALL KINDS OF MIRACLES IN HIS MINISTRY SO WHY DON'T WE. YOU ARE PROBABLY SAYING THAT YOU CAN'T, BUT JESUS SAID YOU CAN AND YOU WILL. WHY IS IT SO HARD TO BELIEVE JESUS WHEN HE SAYS SOMETHING SO PLAIN. THE BIBLE SAYS IN 1ST JOHN 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. IF WE ARE LIKE HIM, WHY CAN'T WE RAISE SOMEONE FROM THE DEAD? IT IS OUR LACK OF FAITH TO BELIEVE. WE ALL CAN DO IT BUT NOT WITH UNBELIEF.
NOW READ THIS NEXT VERSE. THIS IS JESUS TALKING ABOUT YOU AND ME. John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do ; because I go unto my Father. IF WE DON'T CONTINUE TO BUILD OUR FAITH BY STAYING IN HIS WORD, WE WILL NEVER COMPLETE THE THINGS HE HAS INSTRUCTED US TO DO. IT IS TIME WE GET STARTED.
